NOSTALGIA!
I was 6 years old when Repton 1 came out for The BBC Micro and this brings back so many memories. Great adaptation for the iPad. Thank you. If I could rate it higher than the 5 stars, I would!

I am so delighted to discover Repton1 has recently been updated for 64 bit . I owned this on my bbc micro and it is as superb now as it was in 1984.

Whether you loved this game in its original incarnation or have never tried it before, Repton is seriously worth it. A fantastically engaging puzzle game with great expansion packs. Although it looks like the IAPs cost a fair amount, you get literally hundreds of hours of engrossing puzzle gameplay from the expansion packs. Highly recommended.

In app purchase required to jump level
After spending a tenner on this I am disgusted to find that they are squeezing still more cash by charging to jump level. In the original you could jump level by entering the level name as a password. Would have given this 5 stars otherwise. The new graphic style is awful, thankfully there's a 'retro graphics' option.

Awesome app
This and iRepton3 are the most addictive puzzle game ever. I have these for Pc and started playing Repton on BBC Micro, then Acorn Archimedes. Now go out and buy them.
Update needed ASAP
Love this game from my childhood, was happy to pay the price for this and repton 3, only had it a few days and got quite far with all senarios, however now with both games since recent updates my progress doesn't save, and has sent me back to 0% there no point in playing if it doesn't save very disappointing ! Please sort out asap thanks

Trip to my childhood
I've wasted endless hours playing repton as a child and was so excited to see it available on the App Store. It didn't disappoint and not ashamed to say I've wasted hours playing it as an adult now too. Love the fact you can have the original retro graphics and there's plenty of scenarios to keep you busy. Would LOVE robbo too!!! (Hint hint)

Eggs
This was brilliant but in the new version the eggs smash on your head and kill you, meaning that you cannot complete The Vault in Glacier level. Please change it!

I had got quite a way through Avalanche but now it's put me back to 0%, not happy.
At Last!
I understand this has been on iPod touch / iPhone which I don't have, but now it's on Ipad. Just downloaded and had a quick look. Great graphics & response.
It'll take a few upgrades to get all the old BBC features (eg getting a full map of the level you're on) but great to be able to revisit my youth with the best game ever

Great to have a Repton game released for the iPad at last. This is a very nicely made version with responsive controls. If you've never played Repton before, you'll love it. We'll worth the asking price.

Thank you so much for making this iPhone 5x and iOS 7 compatible. It's been a long time but was definitely worth the wait. Classic Repton and new levels too. I'm a bit worried I've been playing it too much as I keep having to stop myself from doing the Repton dance in public! 😳
Brilliant!
Like many other users I revisited my childhood when I downloaded this app! It's faithful to the original and I'm enjoying playing this awesome game all over again.

Good repro of the REPTON game that brings back good memories of a (misspent) youth!
Two downsides tho.
One, sometimes the next map doesn't load properly and you end up with the same level as last time but with a different colour (fixed by exiting then reloading... I guess a bit like back on the Beeb!)
Two, some of the levels you have to buy after buying the full fat app. Not on!
Any idea if there will be future lvls (around the world in 40 screens? Life of...? Thru time?)

Acorn Electron memories
I loved this game on the old Acorn Electron back in the 80s. Although not the "data missing, rewind tape" messages. I think I had all the Repton games as they were an excellent mix of fun and strategy. Still are with this excellent recreation. I hope Around the World in 40 screens makes it to iPhone. Really enjoying playing through the levels again. Keeps you interested as some of the boulder/diamond/getting blocked in challenges are still taxing all these years later. Great game and delighted to see it on iPhone. Thoroughly recommended and not just for those seeking nostalgia. Stands up against today's releases in its own right. 5 out of 5 from me.
