I had no idea how many incredible farms, ranches, and local food producers were right around me until I downloaded Reroot. It’s become my go-to resource for finding fresh, seasonal food and supporting the people who actually grow it.
One statistic I learned thru Reroot that really stuck with me: farmers often receive just a few cents of every dollar we spend on food. That made me want to be much more intentional about where I shop. Reroot makes it easy to support local farmers instead of the middleman.
The app is beautiful, intuitive, and packed with information. If you care about fresh food, local businesses, and knowing where your food comes from, this is a must-have. I recommend it to everyone!

Looking forward to using this app to discover local farmers selling seasonal produce. Especially interested in the ability to buy from known trusted vendors given the recent health scares with big corporate agriculture.

Helps me track and find new local farms and markets
Western Washington has an abundance of small farms and related food businesses. The Reroot app lets me track the Farmer’s Market and specific farms I prefer, like Alvarez Organic Farms and Kittitas Valley Greenhouse. But it also allows to find new producers, shows me when they’re open and what they have for sale. And I’m excited to add small roadside stands not already in their database.
