I used to use this plugin in garage-band; it was amazing back when it was functional. However, it recently started creating this really loud clipping sound in all projects that use it...
Broken in Cubasis
This audio unit seems to be broken in Cubasis, I used it all the time to add texture to tracks and recently it has begun to make an unpleasant crackling noise and the sound is completely different. Because of this, many of my project files are broken now :(
I can’t even use the app
I’m currently working on a game.but I needed a voice actor. I found one and I needed a voice changer.but I’m stuck on the manual

The recent fixes fixed any crash issues I was having, best Resampler bitcrusher and for free! Anything from this dev is top draw!

Folks don't understand AuV3
I was inspired to check this out by a GSG strategies card (take something pretty and bitcrush it). Well I took the Viking synth with the FX - droplets preset and bitcrush Ed it (in the AUM mixer which is a must have for AuV3 audio units like this). And I'm so glad that I did. Don't let an app's 3 star rating throw you off. If you take the time to understand this, you will not be disappointed

I wanted a free bitcrusher for CUBASIS 3, this is the first that appeared on my search. Lovely (nasty) distortion sounds out of the box. I’m going to nab all of your other effects now 😊

App works perfectly in AUM and Audiobus 3.

How do I use it?
Downloaded it thinking it was just gonna start right away but I did not, it just brings you to a manual of the app. I don’t know what to do as of now still but when I find out I will give this app more than a 1 star, but for now I’d suggest not installing this application.
Confusing
I’ve downloaded and redownloaded this app and i can’t figure out how to use the bitcrusher. I have read through the pages, but the entire app seems to be a guide to use a bitcrusher that doesn’t even exist.
This thing is amazing
I love this tool, right for specific things but it does its job really well

Opening the app does indeed show the manual. But the app installs an AUv3 plugin that is available in host DAW apps. If you are not familiar with AUv3, I suggest starting with GarageBand. You can add the plugin as an effect to a GarageBand instrument track. In GarageBand, tap "Plug-ins & EQ". Then tap "Edit". Tap a green plus sign button to add an effect in an empty slot. Then you will see "Audio Unit Extensions". Choose Resampler Bitcrusher from the list.
