About
Your migraine record, kept private. Respite tracks your attacks, medications, and patterns entirely on your iPhone — no account, nothing sold, and every feature free.
Respite is a calm, private migraine and headache diary. Log an attack in one tap, and build the record you (and your doctor) actually need — without handing your health history to anyone.
EVERYTHING IS FREE
No paywall, no subscription, no ads. The features other apps charge for — trend graphs, medication-efficacy, a full doctor report — are all here at no cost, because a tool that helps people through pain shouldn't gate the help.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your record lives on this iPhone. No account to create, nothing uploaded to a company or pharma server, nothing sold. An optional encrypted backup is a single file only you can open.
LOG IN ONE TAP
Rate an attack 0–10 and you're done. Add detail when you want to: where it hurts (a tappable head map), triggers you noticed, symptoms, medication and whether it helped, and notes.
SEE YOUR PATTERNS
- A clear intensity trend over time
- Which medications actually helped, per dose
- Descriptive correlations with your sleep and cycle (read from Apple Health, on-device only) — plain counts, never a diagnosis or prediction
- Home and Lock Screen widgets for a one-tap log
A REPORT YOUR DOCTOR CAN USE
Export a clean, print-ready PDF of your history for an appointment — built on your device, shared only when you choose.
HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT IS
Respite is a diary, not a medical device. It records what you observe — it never diagnoses, predicts, or tells you what caused an attack.
Free. Private. Yours.

You can now make your record your own. • Add your own symptoms and triggers. Alongside the built‑in options, create custom tags that match how you experience your attacks — then reuse them every time you log. This one came straight from your TestFlight feedback — thank you. As always, your record stays on your iPhone.
