TYPE OR TALK — YOUR CHOICE Studying somewhere you can't speak? There's now a "Type your answer" button right under the answer box, plus a Voice/Typing switch at the top of every lesson. Change your mind as often as you like, mid-lesson, without losing your place. DOWNLOAD ONLY THE LESSONS YOU WANT Library lessons now download one at a time when you tap the + on them, instead of all loading at once. The app opens faster, uses less data, and anything you've downloaded keeps working offline. Remove a download whenever you want — your progress is saved and waiting if you add it back later. VOICE SETUP THAT MAKES SENSE Retriv now explains what the microphone is for before iOS asks for permission, and shows you how to turn it back on if you said no the first time. FIXES • Fixed the volume dropping and a second volume bar appearing partway through a lesson • Audio and the microphone now stop the moment you leave a lesson • "Due for review" now counts only cards you have actually studied, not every card in the library • Questions and buttons no longer get cut off at larger text sizes • Signing out no longer replays the welcome tour • Sharing a lesson with your class now lists only your own lessons • The Class tab appears only when you are actually in a class ALSO NEW • Streak milestones at 3, 5, 7, 14, 21, 30, 50 and 100 days • A suggestion for what to study next when you finish a session • Home screen tiles now line up evenly

Retriv uses real voice grading that accepts variations in how people speak. For example, it recognizes both "fifty six" and "56" as correct answers to a numerical question.
Can Retriv create flashcards from photos?
Yes, Retriv features AI Smart Scan. You can photograph a page of notes or a textbook, and it will generate a study lesson in seconds. You can also highlight text in a photo to create cards.
What is the Recap Round in Retriv?
