So unfair
Game is annoyingly unfair, defense is nonexistent no matter if you have a 5 star rating. You can win 10 championships back to back and you sim a game and your defense will give up 4 TDs in a quarter.
Used to be fun
the game is really enjoyable for a time but, eventually it just becomes stale. The lack of updates that could add more depth really ruin the experience since ever year feels the exact same and less rewarding. Its way to easy and P2W but, you dont have to pay to easily make a 5 star team that bombs a 90 yard play every drive, which is just awful. I’d like it to be harder since the hardest difficulty still feels like im playing againest the 2024 Raiders defense no matter their level. I would also like more depth like a news section which shows broken records or mentions your retrobowl streak, i think it’d really make the process more rewarding. And if you trade players to a team, It doesnt affect the team. Trade your max QB who one b2b2b superbowls for a single first round pick to a team with a half a star offense. You’d think their offense would improve but it doesnt. Little nitpicking but i think that depth in those areas would really improve the game on all aspects. A retirement feature would also be nice. maybe you could become a new coach on the same save and still have your previous coachings records to go off of, and break them. Lastly, i would also like improvements in the player traits. Maybe leadership players who improve moral on their offense/defense. Toxic players who get suspended every now and then(can be improved). Ego players who are on your news feed talking smack or, Money seekers who constantly ask larger prices of money, causing holdouts and such. I know its a lot to ask but since there hasent been major updates in a while, i feel like even a single one of the features would be a dream. Still an amazing game but very dull at this point after playing so long.

Early start to the Season
This game scratches my itch during the offseason! It’s super easy to get into and super fun! Now waiting for football to start again ain’t so bad.

I absolutely LOVE this game. It’s a great football game. The thing I think you should add is QB1. QB1 is when you simulate as an QB, you commit to a college, get drafted to the NFL, then retire when you want. Other than that, great game, and your doing a great job.

Game used to be so fun I even spent money on it but now my 5 star wide receivers can’t catch, 5 star rb gets pummeled and i lose to a team that is equal to me by 40

This game is buns and I will sue there is bugs and the game makes no sense it cause it was a pick and the db was no where to be found so fix the game
love this game but…
i really love this game but it annoys me that the playoff and retrobowl stats aren’t in there own category but are instead combined with my regular season stats. l also think hard mode is too easy and expert mode is too unfair, please make hard mode harder or expert mode not as unfair.
Retro bowl review
I think that this is a great game. It is very fun and addictive but there is just 1 small problem. Every time I throw the ball it is always intercepted. Like I straight at the play and great timing and… INTERCEPTION. I like playing is San Francisco because they are my team but every time I throw it’s an interception. Brock Purdy is not a bad quarterback. It’s a great game nonetheless, definitely deserving 4 stars.

OPOY badge
The OPOY badge is the only one that does not stack on the player card. A player can have multiple but you will only see one unless you go into stats to see the real number. Good game though.

I’m mad
Whenever I click on the team I want to start with for a new save, it automatically chooses a random team that I do not wish to have. If you are able to fix this problem, I will consider making my review 5 stars
