Simulation feature please!
Retro Goal+ is a great game overall—the concept, the feelings, the emotions—don’t get me wrong. But I have 2 requests.
Improve the overall ability of the goalkeepers. Sometimes, the user shoots a totally save-able shot, and the keeper completely fails to put a glove on it.
Add a simulation feature that allows users to skip matches to shorten gameplay like Retro Bowl. A big reason that I request this to be added is because when you take charge of a new team, you start with minimal resources, reset facilities, but the same amount of credits. Using Retro Bowl as a comparison, you can simulate regular season games so you can skip straight to the playoffs or the offseason. As a result of simulating to the offseason, you don’t have to wait long before you can sign amazing players and ultimately upgrade your team. This is a joy that Retro Goal+ players miss out on.

Scratches the EAFC itch 🤙🏻
As a long time FIFA gamer, this app is a go to for me. Great game to have on hand for any occasion where you need to kill 5-10 minutes.
I do have a two suggestions/requests. There are so many people who would love to see an official explanation of staff trait effects. I also would love to be able to see my bench player stats easier when I click them instead of having to click the bench, click a player, then close the bench to see the stats and so on when comparing who I want to start.
Otherwise the app is fantastic in my opinion. Thank you for your work.

A Game Worth Suing
Apple Arcade's Retro Goal+ is a total joke that is run super poorly. The gameplay is basically broken with clunky controls, unfair computer defenders, and "chance missed" pop-ups that happen for no reason. Plus, getting enough credits to build a good team is ridiculously hard.Like, I literally try to defend but my players just stand there and watch the other team score. It makes me so mad because it feels like the whole game is scripted so you lose unless you use real money or grind forever. The Apple Arcade version is supposed to have everything unlocked, but the app freezes and lags all the time anyway. Honestly, they need to fix these bugs fast or just delete the game because it's such a waste of time.

Weird bug, deleting career.
So there’s an unfortunate thing happening in the game. When you have retiring players, it doesn’t allow you to extend their contracts to the end of the season so they just retire mid season. I would like to ask the devs at NSG to do either of these:
1. Let players take back their retirement decision for more money, like Retro Bowl
2. Add final contracts that expire at the end of a player’s retiring season

I realize we havent made it the last 3 world cups, but come on I wanted to play as Italy in the global championship. You have the clubs why not the national team

This game is great! I love playing the team zacetaces but when the
chance is missed it’s not that fun I wish you could control the
goalie and I don’t even know if the teams are actually real also

I’ve played this before but never lost before. It makes me feel frustrated 😡🤬lm not even close to why it’s doing that for no reason.
Unfair
Game is unbalanced especially when you’re competing in a higher league, I transferred from a MLS team to Arsenal and started off with terrible stats, couldn’t get any wins and the other teams swept through my defense, don’t waste your time with this. The reason I added two stars is because minus all of that it’s actually fun to play when you have a decent team.

I scored three goals and it was in the champions leauge final then they scored four goals straight . So I lost it also happens for other matches if i could rate it zero stars I would.
Keepers could be better but very good game
I kind of hate how the keeper will jump straight up for the ball and never block it like i think a defender can head it better than the keeper can block it like if you just position the header spot right on the keeper you score everytime and also everyone complaining about game being hard have serious skill issue like i play on extreme and fond it too easy some times

It’s Alr but they gotta make it like whenever u join a different team, make it so they have different ratings like in retro bowl instead of just restarting. Say u wanna join Manchester city, it would be better if when u change teams, city would have like a 5 star 5 star instead of rebuilding every time

Mismanaged
This game is the absolute opposite of Retro Bowl 26, it’s not even funny. I’ve read the reviews and just didn’t believe them. There’s no way a game can just be so poorly mismanaged and designed… right? Nope. This game is literally the worst example of a sport represented in a mobile game. The “defense” and “simming” is so poor and comedic, when you DONT score you literally KNOW the other team will score. Literally dropping 600 or even 1000+ coins on a good D man or Goalie is a waste if more often than not the other team just scores on you! DONT PLAY THIS GARBAGE

Literally so bad… why? One-you can’t even PLAY DEFENSE! Two-They call it simple team management but NO. If you want live your life to the fullest, I don’t recommend wasting your time on this…
Chance missed
Retro Goal+ has a great retro style and a fun concept, but the gameplay can be really frustrating. A lot of the time it feels like you’re not even allowed to defend — opponents cut through your team too easily and your defenders feel useless. On top of that, the constant “chance missed” moments make it feel unfair, especially when you do everything right. Instead of feeling challenging, it often feels scripted. Very annoying and takes away from what could be a great game.

Only annoying part is when the Forward is standing in the way of my shot every time I shoot with a Midfielder that is so damn annoying & lost bc of it
Controls are horrible
The pull controls are horrible, quick passes work 30% of the time. They need to change to a pull controls or add controls on the screen because anything on the edge of the screen is impossible on an phone
Game is fixed
The game is extremely rigged, when I win a certain amount of games, the ball somehow arcs it lower, and the defense is somehow better. It seems to always make a draw or lose outcome, intentionally trying to downfall players. Constantly unfair soccer is constantly played, and many reviewers have sounded out on this unfixed problem that seems to ruin the game with an unrealistic outcome trying to cut win streaks and avoid “game is too easy” outcomes. You can’t rig a game and expect good reviews. You don’t see too many games with under a 3.7 star review.
