Black Background & Poor Ai Performance
Dear RetroFix by glitch or design your application’s Ai is lowering the performance creativity at Recreate Photos. Getting black background over and over is annoying. It used to create better backgrounds but lately not. Are you going to add more options for backgrounds? I’m a premium customer. Getting these clone renderings or not what you truly want is something that you can upgrade easy. Have you created a better version under another name? Need results not wasting time. Thanks.

Simple Algorithm
It uses the most basic edit on Free version!
To add fake eyes? Like copy pasting something randomly on faces just to increase resolution?! Hm …
Don’t get me wrong, the whole picture’s resolution improved very well but face details are extremely bad!
I haven’t tried paid version but if it uses the same algorithm then the whole app doesn’t deserve to have higher than 3 stars!

Update?
The current update FAILED. The app was working just fine before the update. I don’t know why they just can’t leave well enough alone. Now when you animate a picture it won’t save it to your library as a video, only as a blurry, still picture. You get no animation, and I’m paying $9.99 a week for that! No thank you!

ZERO STAR!! Beware!!!
Signed up for what I thought was a “FREE TRIAL”. Like most apps, you have to input payment in case you do not cancel before the end of the trial. NOPE!!!! Once submitted, I became aware it processed for the full year subscription. Application didn’t even do what I needed, which was why I did the “TRIAL” account. Cancelled it right away, which was when I realized it wasn’t a trial, but the full subscription.
BEWARE if you even attempt to download this app or its “FREE TRIAL”.
Although I cancelled it immediately, they’ve refused to refund my money.
I’d give it a BIG ZERO STARS if possible!!!

Test kaum möglich
Mit dem Probe - Abo getestet. Minimale Verbesserungen festgestellt aber nach 3 Bildern war Schluss mit testen. Dann wurde man erstmal mit Zwangs-Werbung zugedröhnt.So funktioniert das nicht, Leute. Sofort wieder deinstalliert.

Poor quality for the price of RetroFix
Remarkable results
RetroFix breathed new life into my grandfathers naval journal that contained photos from the 1920’s. Some of them were in bad shape … before I found them they had suffered water damage, mildew, discoloration, cracks, creases. You get the picture.
THIS PROGRAM REVIVED THEM. My brother who is preparing them to exhibit in a D.C. naval museum curation; was blown away by how absolutely realistic the restoration was completed. Every one of the photos STILL LOOKED LIKE MY GRANDFATHER— not some weird alien ai version; but actually him. And the colorized mode was incredible. The moments came back to life for us. Thank you.
What it’s worth, been graphic designer and used Photoshop for 20 plus years in many different capacities , and I will say RetroFix is way better for this kind of photo restoration Work. It is fast, intuitive and produces incredible results. Their tools, and AI algorithms are far more developed and on point. I would use this program over say, Photoshop any given day.
To attempt similar restoration using Photoshop, you are referred to complete an almost 50 step, unnecessarily overly complex & useless tutorial, that yields results not even HALF as nice as RetroFix.
