What's New in RetroGo

1.7.1

June 25, 2026

Sega Mega Drive support, auto-matched Mega Drive cheats, and one-tap save overwrite. • Added the PicoDrive core, bringing Sega Mega Drive / Genesis, 32X, Game Gear, Master System, and Mega-CD games to RetroGo. • Mega Drive titles are now in Discover — browse and look up games right inside the app, with Chinese names that follow your app language. • Added a Mega Drive cheat template database with automatic CRC32 matching, so cheats bind to recognized ROMs with no manual setup. • Reworked save states into a sectioned list: overwrite an existing save in one tap instead of only creating new ones, and watch your save land in the list before the screen closes. Some psp games have bad rendering

When i was playing psp games like example the game Micheal jackson the experience psp version on the star sprite it goes on the wrong side so please fix the rendering on psp emulation and add more options on settings

Response from developer

Hi there, thank you so much for the 5-star review and for taking the time to report this! The rendering issue you described with Michael Jackson: The Experience (star sprites appearing on the wrong side) is most likely caused by the PPSSPP emulation core's internal settings — such as upscaled resolution or texture caching — rather than a bug in RetroGo itself. Great news: in the upcoming v1.8.0, we're adding a Core Options settings panel that will let you tweak PPSSPP's rendering resolution, texture caching, buffer effects, and more. This should help you find a combination that fixes the sprite issue for this game. In the meantime, it would be incredibly helpful if you could send me a screenshot of the rendering glitch — you can find the feedback option on the Settings tab at the bottom of the app, or email me directly at askrsw@163.com. That way I can investigate further and make sure v1.8.0 covers your specific case. Thanks again for the support — really appreciate it!

Best Emulator

This is the most user-friendly emulator I’ve ever used. It’s simple but powerful, and organizing ROM files feels incredibly smooth. The customizable on-screen controls work really well, with unique layouts for each platform. Now the top buttons in the game screen can also be customized, and landscape mode can be locked. It’s so good.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! I’m really glad you noticed the library organization, platform-specific touch layouts, customizable top toolbar, and landscape lock. RetroGo is built around the idea of being simple to play, but powerful enough for serious retro collections. I’ll keep improving the app with more useful features while keeping the experience clean and easy to use. Thanks again for your support!

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! I’m really glad to hear that you’re enjoying RetroGo and found it easy to use. Ccc

Great but new update and now I can’t rotate anymore

Response from developer

Hi, thank you so much for the kind words and for taking the time to leave a review! 🙏 We're aware of the rotation issue and it's already been fixed — it'll be included in our upcoming 1.5.0 update, which is focused on in-game menu customization. Stay tuned! If you're enjoying RetroGo, it would mean the world to us if you could update your rating to 5 stars once the update is out. Your support truly helps us keep improving the app!

GBA emulator

It’s not allowing me to play adventure red chapter. lol.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback! RetroGo currently uses VBA-M for GBA games, and some ROM hacks may behave differently depending on the emulator core. We’re considering adding additional GBA cores in future updates, which may improve compatibility with games like Adventure Red Chapter. If you enjoy RetroGo overall, a 5-star rating would really encourage us to keep improving it.
