Doesn’t work
This app has almost no functionality, doesn’t allow you to preview the product as it would be through the viewer. Only works in vertical orientation on iPad - not landscape, has buttons that are unresponsive, and overall is just terrible. This is not what I would expect from any app, much less a paid app.

Frustrating
Won’t let me purchase ANY OF THE NEW reels I’ve created. Just says it can’t be completed. Have deleted and redownloaded app. What the heck??????
Saving
I didn’t expect much considering the purpose, but this app is super glitchy. The Save function doesn’t work without all the frames being filled… what f$&@/$ sense does that make?!

When the website kept freezing up, I downloaded the app. It is worse than not having an app. It will not do anything. It opens and says there’s an update, but there is none. Then it goes to a page that says it’s to build a reel, but there isn’t anything that can be done there. The basic outline graphic of a reel appears, but no buttons work, no links, not even the “back arrow” will do anything. After restarting my iPad, removing and reinstalling, everything that normally fixes app issues — it still does nothing. I’m fairly sure it’s not spyware or otherwise compromising my system, but some of the red flags are there. I’ve never left a 1-star review, but this was really the most useless download I’ve ever had in 20 years of being an Apple user.
I bought a RetroViewer & reel as a gift last year, and it was excellent. I started to make 6 more reels this year, and have not been able to get a single one completed & ordered after 2 weeks of trying daily on the website and now the app. Frustrating, and really disappointing.

Retro app
Worked great the first time I used it however ever since the first time the app now will not connect to online servers and allow me to purchase any reels I make. I have deleted the app and reinstalled, I have turned off wifi on my phone as well as reset the router. I have also tried using my data to connect and restarted my phone. No matter what I have done no option has worked. This is very frustrating.

Great present
I had a few malfunctions with creating my reel on the app and there aren’t enough payment options however the viewer and reel look spectacular and I am amazed by the quality. I will definitely order a reel again. Also production and shipping was so much faster than I had expected (I live in Canada).

I love it!
This is such an awesome gift. I love the quality and just the overall finished product. It truest reminded me of my childhood and I’m glad I can give my boyfriend something he can enjoy as much as I did.

If I was able to access any photos on my phone instead of my “moments”. Might make sense to get that fixed as otherwise worthless. Was excited to make one of these for a present for my wife.

I bought this as a Xmas gift for my boyfriend and it turned out awesome! Creating a reel is easy. Yes, you can only access the moments folder but that wasn’t a problem for me. I made two reels and bought a viewer. Cost was reasonable but shipping was unexpectedly pricey! Adding the second reel on the app is tricky (but doable) so I actually placed two orders accidentally. I emailed them and they worked with me to combine the orders so I didn’t have to pay shipping twice. Excellent customer service!

What a mess.
First it wouldn’t let me create an account cause I “ wasn’t connected to wifi “ while I’m sitting in my living room. I tried setting up my banking information but I live in a apartment building so that didn’t work either then I tried contacting costumer service and it said I had to set up and email when I signed in with my email. Don’t bother waist of time if you’re in Canada.

I want to buy it.
I went to buy a reel from this app and i’m trying to sign into the app and it keeps saying i need internet connection in order to do this when my Internet is perfectly working and even when i turn off my internet and use Cellular data it still doesn’t work. Please fix this bug.
I’m a bit disappointed
It’s true that it only shows the moments folder instead of all of your other folders. That is very frustrating as well as the only method of payment at the end being Apple Pay.
Cannot View Albums on IPhone
This app is practically useless. You can not access any of your albums via the app. So unless you have hours and hours to waste scrolling through photos, or only have a couple pictures, the website is your only option.
