Maybe Iโm wrong
It feels like the computer opponent only has two difficulty settings and it beats me by being supreme genius or loses by playing like an absolute idiot. The slide bar between easy and hard only affects the amount of times you encounter either idiot or genius. Never feels like Iโm playing an opponent at my level.

The screen resolution is no good anymore.

Whenever I use Reversi now, I get a warning from Apple that it is trying to paste from my clipboard. There is no conceivable reason the game should have to do this other than try to steal your personal information.

I received a notification from Apple that this app tried to paste from my clipboard upon opening. App creators do this hoping to steal passwords, crypto key words, etc. Be careful and do not trust this game.

This is NOT Reversi. This is Othello.
This is NOT Reversi. This is Othello. What is the difference, you ask? In Reversi, if you reach a stalemate, the game ends. In Othello, the game keeps going until the other player can play a piece or the board gets filled, whichever comes first.
The difficulty of the NPC is incredibly hard, even when you put it on the lowest difficulty setting. Some might find that helpful if youโre trying to learn this to play against someone who is good at Reversi. Others might find it way too frustrating. Iโm somewhere in between.

Playing against the computer is frustrating
The game should be fun to play and it isnโt. Playing against the computer is too challenging (compared to other games). It is doesnโt give me an opportunity to win even once. I understand how to play the game but it doesnโt matter what I do the computer has the upper hand.

This app wins all the time because it cheats
Have been playing Othello/Reversi for years. Thought I lost my touch until I started paying attention to what was flipping when I changed it. In one game I made a good move and the app placed two mii oh cues at once lol. That followed by flipping all the tiles except the one I was specifically aiming for. Actually pretty funny at the end of the day

Iโm rated about 1800 so Iโm an inconsistent expert.
On the highest level, if I make an opening mistake, I loose.

Irritating Ads blare music & you canโt get out of them
Used to be a good app but now you try opening it and you get a full screen ad that blares loud music at you and that you canโt click through until itโs finished. If I wanted stupid infomercials to assault me at every turn Iโd turn on the television. A good app is ruined.
Garbage
As you play ads will significantly increase also computer plays multiple pieces in a single turn when all solutions point towards player win much better apps out there
Poor form
What a lovely experience to get full screen ads before even starting the game or seeing a menu. Wouldnโt want the user to actually try to enjoy anything, gotta make that money. Donโt spend that 1 cent you earned all at once
