Worthless
The apps from History Central do not work with the new iOS. Some didn’t work with several earlier versions. The Apple Store page Support leads to a 404 message. Not only is there no one at the address but there is no explanation or redirect.

As an introduction to the history of the Revolution, it’s OK. But it needs a lot of editing for spelling and grammar.
Content missing
Most of the content is missing and I was going to use this app to teach a class tomorrow.
Years Later
I kept waiting for an upgrade to stop the app from dropping out when you tried to change content. Nothing materialized and it turned out to be just a waste of money.

I just had five dollars stolen from me by purchasing this app. They should be investigated and removed. Complete sham.

Beware price 99 cents
The website said that this app was supposed to be 99 cents during the week of July 4th but I was charged 4.99. Purchased this on July 6th.
GUI not particularly well done
While there is a wealth of information in this app there isn't any font adjustment and some of the text font size is just stupid small. If you zoom the page the text doesn't reformat and it turns into a scroll-a-thon to read the text. Can not zoom individual images and zooming the page doesn't go far enough to see any details on many of the maps and images. Really poorly designed GUI.

Amazing app
Great app, it helped me learn the revolutionary war for school.
Disappointing...
I never rated an app before, but felt i had to in this case, was very excited to find this app after reading an article about it, but it turned out I wasted $5. Can't get the audio to work on the iPhone version, misspellings, blurry pics, in one shot it still says "main title" and "subtitle" instead of actually being filled in. I had high hopes for this, hopefully they take the negative ratings so far to heart and fix it soon.

Potential Unfulfilled
I bought this app with much anticipation and was much disappointed. While it is a decent account of the Revolutionary War, it does not fulfill its promise of taking advantage of the IPad's potential. The narratives are filled with misspellings, punctuation and grammar errors. This is not a good feature in a learning app. The interactive features use period paintings and engravings, but many of these are blurred and fuzzy. I hope future versions clean up those problems because this has the potential to be a decent learning tool. In the meantime, save your money.

not sure about this one...
The first thing I noticed was terrible spelling on the categories. "Revolution" is spelled wrongly several times, as is the word "American!" What message does that send to students? There are a few simplistic "multimedia" sections, but nothing interactive. Kids are crying out for interactive apps! Why can't this be better? I wanted to love it, but instead I mildly like it...
