I actually enjoy navigating Wayback Machine now!
Stumbled on this little gem earlier and my curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to make a purchase. It's one of those apps you didn't know you needed, but when you realize its potential and usage, it becomes an indispensable tool.
It’s a Safari extension used for displaying past versions of a website in a timeline-style design that is easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing to view. If you’re already familiar with Wayback Machine, then you know the interface can be a bit confusing and not that user-friendly. This app uses the Wayback Machine API to show all the pages in a neatly organized stack where you can quickly flip through and see all the changes. So simple and incredibly convenient! 🤗
One thing to keep in mind is that Wayback Machine (archive.org) can be quite slow. However, the developer has addressed this issue and suggests that you refresh the page if the snapshots take too long to load. Despite this minor inconvenience, the app is a one-time universal purchase that makes it well worth the small investment.
