Finally an app that holds everything in one place. It feels kinda clunky to open up an individual app for podcasts, another for books, and another for movies, etc. Rex lets me jump between them all simultaneously - so nice!
Finally a one stop shop!
One of my favorite things to do is create lists of all the movies, books and podcasts I want to watch. So this app scratches that itch and more. Plus Goodreads and a rotten tomatoes have become toxic!
Clean, simple, and actually useful
REX is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It combines the best parts of Goodreads and Letterboxd but brings everything—books, movies, TV, and even podcasts—into one clean, beautifully designed space. I love having a single place to track what I want to watch, read, and listen to without juggling multiple apps.

Rex rocks
This is the app I’ve been waiting for, finally it’s here!!
I like it
Rex is a really solid app. It makes it simple to keep track of what I want to check out and what I’ve already finished. The recommendations and social aspect are nice too. Overall, it just feels straightforward and well put together.
So much better than Goodreads
I have used Goodreads for a long time to track books but the app is really hard to use. This one is MUCH better (also works for movies and other stuff too)

Been wanting one app that actually tracks books, movies, tv, and podcasts together forever. Goodreads is a kind of clunky, Letterboxd only does movies, but Rex does it all. Clean, easy, recommendations that don’t feel random. And it’s a really pretty design. Genuinely excited about an app for the first time in a while.

Replaced my notes app!
I used to put friend’s recs in my notes app, which got long and unwieldy. And I could never remember what I liked recently when people asked for suggestions, which made me seem culturally starved! Rex is a game changer - so easy to use. I add things to my wishlist and then rate and review them. I love pulling up Rex to jog my memory on what I’ve enjoyed and sharing my hot takes with friends. And I discover stuff from others in the community. If you hate good reads or are tired of your notes app, it’s worth trying.

My new favorite app!
I love that I can save everything (books, movies, tv, podcast) in one place. I use this to save everything I hear about that I want to read or watch, then I rate and review things after I do. Now if a friend asks me for a book or movie or tv or podcast recommendation, I just send them to my Rex!
