This app is ROUGH🥴
I purchased one of the Rexing dash cameras after I was almost in a car accident, that I would not have been at fault in.
The camera was pretty nice, from Walmart. It came with everything. My only gripe is this app. It doesn’t work very good at all. It’s buggy, and you don’t even have an option to wipe unneeded videos from the app, you would have to pull the SD card and do it manually. It’s not user-friendly at all. Like others said, if I knew the app was going to be this buggy, I would’ve honestly just bought a different camera.

Horrible app
Camera is very clear but the app is horrible! Unless you have a computer degree forget trying to figure out how to do anything! Needed a video downloaded and cannot even view them!

Annoying, doesn’t connect
I was lucky and got connected once. It is a pain to get the dash cam to connect to the app. Got tired of trying. If I knew the app sucked this bad, I wouldn’t have bought the dash cam.

Camera great but APP IS HORRIBLE
Can’t view videos that weren’t downloaded while not connected to the camera. Cannot see multiple angles at once. App is confusing and not user friendly at all
REXING Connect
No manual to look for setup and how to use the REXING Camera. It is a fluke when the camera works as you want it to. Now it displays on the screen “error, format SD card?” When I click on Ok it now says no SD memory card. Please install a SD memory card. I have no clue where the slot on the camera is for the memory card. So far it fails to meet my expectations

This app is just garbage, doesn’t work at all
App is terrible. Can’t connect.
One session is Fable/Mythos would probably fix a million things wrong with this app. It isn’t a priority. The cameras are great. But the “act” of simply connecting to it is not.
I’ve turned off my VPN, wifi assist, cellular data, forgotten the Rexing wifi network, rebooted my phone, power cycled the camera, and reconnected to no avail.

I’m unable to retrieve previously saved videos
This is ridiculously insane to try and figure out. I can’t see any videos that’s been previously recorded. The Phone app will not link to the camera and I’m unable to find the videos on the actual camera itself. It shouldn’t be so hard to do this. I’ve also called the Customer Service number and left several messages. Never heard anything back since last week. I’m probably just gonna go get my money back.

App has a learning curve and requires settings adjustments.
Took awhile to figure out that you need to turn off Bluetooth and cellular WiFi-assist for this app to work. Once I got it working, it is what I expected. I’m glad I got it figured out.
Good Camera, Lousy App
Connecting to the app to view clips is nearly impossible. It seems restarting my phone is the only way for the app to connect to the camera and successfully launch the app. Trying to open the app and connect without restarting my phone only results in a note pop up and it does nothing but sends me to the app settings. If I knew it would be impossible to access the app I probably would have bought a different camera, but at least I am able to access and save video using the micro sd card.

Don’t waste your money
This is by far the worst dash cam I have ever used, and I’ve been in the transportation business for 16 years, the app sucks and it’s pain in the neck to connect to the app.
WiFi Connection
Connecting to this camera is trash. When you finally connect to the camera you have like five seconds to do something before it kicks you out/crashes. It is best if you just remove the whole entire memory card and take it to your computer versus trying to download it to your phone. Everything else about is fine, but the Wi-Fi capabilities are just completely trash and so is this app.

I’ve had this rexxing camera for a couple of years. I have never been able to connect to the cameras wifi.

Horrible - sales promo app
This app is simply a promo. A powerful app that connected with my dash cam. This is everything but. Nice little dash cam. Grossly disappointing app
So awful it’s almost unusable.
Awful if you want dashcam video, great if you want to see a buffering icon.
