Perfect For Retro Football Heads Like Me
It’s a very good simulation experience, and the amount of retro and vintage football data in it is very impressive. It’s perfect if you long for a football manager simulator but want to use players from the 70’s to today.
Nice and simple
A stripped back, classic football manager game. No complicated nuances, just buy, sell and select players. Not perfect but a really good pick up and play. You can get through a season pretty efficiently without having to spend ages number crunching.
Potential
This game has so much potential but……
Player attribute stats are confusing and really random. Top players can have lower rating stats than lower rated players?
I have to go by ability and potential stats to know who is the better player! And if you wish to buy a player you won’t know that ability unless you take him on loan first or scout him which takes weeks.
It would be great to increase the range of stats such as, Finishing, determination, free kicks?
Also would be great to be able to replace scouts as if your with a Div 3 team your scouts are poor, would be good to be able to replace them.
Other than that it is a relatively good game, as I said it has loads of potential to make it great.
Would love to see a game in the 99 - 03 era made!

Bugs since update
I’ve noticed that players aren’t removed after signing, as stated in another review. Also sometimes my game just shuts down after a game before going to the finances.

Bugs in update
I bought a player from the list of 4 that appears after a match is played. But instead of removing this player’s name from the list, the player’s name remained. I thought maybe my attempt to buy failed so I tried again twice. After I found 3 identical players in my squad! So I sold two of them for a profit. Needs fixing.

Thanks for raising that, we will get it looked into and fixed. In testing we noticed that players were not being removed but did not realise you could buy them multiple times. Regards Coast Gaming

Diamond in the rough
It’s genuinely insane that this game doesn’t have more downloads, I thought this was a massive game until I came to the reviews and saw only like 100. This game is legitimately the BEST manager game for keeping it simple and not having to dedicate your firstborn child to have fun on it. I’ve been using my MLS Cup winning Timbers from the 2015 season and the players are all exactly correct for the whole league. Its so nice to be able to play without having to grind out but still gives you things you need improve on

Top Game, easy to play and very addictive .
Suggestions
Good if you new how well a player was actually playing when making substitutions. A loan option would be great.
Older versions are better
Why would you ruin the game by making transfers bids such that you have to wait to maybe sign players 3 games later? That’s a huge no for me. I want the option to be able to sign the player immediately. Especially if I’m paying actual money to download seasons. Sucks that you did that as I was a huge fan of the older versions.

GAMES POO
This game is poo I genuinely have such a good squad and yet can’t get more than 2 wins in a row also there is soo many adds and I would love the ability to search players names to buy them
Really fun but some issues
I find this game really fun I’ve played for about 24 hours total in the past 2 days but there’s just some issues which should be easy to fix
1. this isn’t to bad of an issue but it can confuse some players, the amount of games played is always for some reason like a lot more than it is
2. Some of the upcoming fixtures disappear like you’re about play a team in your league and then suddenly you’re not
3. A lot of really good players play for really bad league two teams which makes the game really unrealistic

UPDATE: took off 3 stars because there’s another issue that I’m really annoyed with and it’s that after I’ve been putting up with the other issues I’ve now had 2 careers that I’ve put hours into just crash they just suddenly became a white screen and I can’t play on those careers anymore I was on my 8th year with Aston Villa and it just suddenly broke
