Visit to Wisley
I recently visited the beautiful RHS Wisley for the first time last travelling back from Southampton.
I was very impressed with the buildings, Gardens, cafe & garden centre, in particular there with a number of staff that stood out for me, inter alia.
Izzy L - I was welcomed at the reception with information and a smile, thank you.
Penelope - I enjoyed accessing the Laboratory where I enjoyed the Townsend room and talking to Penelope, thank you.
Garden centre staff, Steven, Daniel (Dan), Ruth & Sam N were very helpful whilst I was buying 3 beautiful ceramic pots and plants and advising on the micro-drip system, thank you

Notes
It would be very helpful if you could alter the date of a note. You don’t always have time to add notes on the day you pot on, prune or photograph a plant
It’s ok
Very good at identifying actual plants, but does not let you know what weeds are (wife has a different app and told her is simple terms that some seedlings were weeds and not what we planted, for instance this app said it was spinach 😂). It’s average app but definitely not worth the price.
False mac compatibility
Being on the Apple app store in the first place would imply that the app is compatible with Apple devices. However, going onto it on an unaltered (relevant for later) Mac, will result in it reporting that the Mac is "rooted", which is purely an android term, that if it was applied to a Mac would imply that the Mac's OS was tampered with/edited, which it hasn't been.

New garden
Having a large garden in a new county this app has been invaluable at helping me identify plants and understand how to nurture this beautiful place
not clear enough
Was looking for advice that is precise with reminders built in so I prune, feed, etc. my garden plants. I found the advice such as pruning imprecise as must be auto generated. For example they gave both options to prune an evergreen and deciduous hedge together. It should just define what to do and when to do it with an option to add into a calendar. Will wait until more precise as I can google this info.

So Clunky
Just awful. Some screens don’t fit on an iPhone, took three tries just to subscribe even though my bank approved it, lots of fluff but couldn’t sctually do what I wanted so cancelled a years subscription
£££££
Nothing to say if it is free or not until one is well into the signing up and personal information, then it is suddenly sprung on you. My time would have been better spent in the garden.
Not free
It is promoted is a free app but you can’t even try it without putting in your payment details. Not reasonable
Waste of time.
Full of pop ups and data gathering just to identify plants.
Stops music playing
Launching the app immediately stops audio from any app like Music or BBC Sounds playing. Unnecessary and a bit annoying.
Glitchy
I was really excited to get this app - it has all of the features I think I’ll need in one place. There are so many glitches however. Whenever I use the AI tool it crashes and “My Garden” often shows as empty even though I’ve added current plants and wish list plants. I then add them again and the other appear. Frustrating. I’d really like it to work but looks like I’ll have to cancel before my free trial ends

Cost
No mention of cost until you sign up to an account (which you have to do) and then once they have all your details you’re asked for payment. Sneaky. Not for me if that’s how they operate.
Enquiry
Not so good got general questions 🫤
Pay to use
Only after you register to use the app do you then get told to pay.
Good but a money grab
Why has everything got to cost so much. Seek is better in my opinion.

Misleading - it’s not a free app
Cant access app
Wont let me put in a password when signing up. Cant even access the app
Not working
Paid a month ago, it keeps asking me to verify my email and won’t let me access the app until I do but I am unable to verify as it doesn’t send me an email sp that I can verify. Why does it want me to verify again and block me in the meantime, I signed up and paid so why?? It only worked during the two week trial period, not since I paid £35 for a year. And yes, the money has come out of my bank account. Very disappointing.

Too Glitchy for a paid app
Too many glitches, takes ages to load regardless of WiFi speed, tools not available, way to poor to pay for when it’s this unreliable, how to I get a refund?
