Won’t let me create an account
I just updated this app and opened it. I tried to create an account and it won’t let me. I get a large error message on top of screen that goes away before I can read or copy it. Please help me because I can’t even get in to go to the support page.
Superior customer service and a great community!
Onboarding from an offer went askew because of a glitch, but a polite request to the developer (to ask if the offer would go out again) resulted in them making it right from the get go. The community is wonderful, and the app is super-useful. I’m looking forward to exploring it more, but honestly, the best part is connecting with other gardening enthusiasts from all over the world, sharing knowledge!

Initial onboard issues but GREAT support!
I saw this app come up on AppAdvice as a limited lifetime free option and I was extremely excited as I've wanted to grow my own backyard garden for sometme, but my last attempt yielded zero sprouts (quite dissaappointing indeed). Now I would have support advice to help manage my garden and help track my plot! I have grapes growing in my front yard, oranges and Meyer Lemons in the backyad; a banana plant on the side, and other grafted trees on my property which helps me feel connected to my land and the Earth in general. It has been very rewarding over the years and the lemons are sold locally and seem well-liked. Now I have the tools to take this to the next level and grow with the support that I didn't have before and couldn't do alone thanks to this app! I appreciate the resolution of some onboarding issues and it's moved me to write my second review ever on the Apple App Store. Very much appreciated guys! I'm off to launch my Good Pickens location with gusto!

Super helpful for beginners!
Last year was my first year using the app and first year that I was successfully able to grow vegetables! The knowledge base is great and the input from experts and Ruby is so helpful! Excited to be using it again this growing season.
Excellent app support
I was having a problem with signing up for the lifetime version of this app and reached out to the developer for assistance. They were very supportive and quick to answer. Ultimately solving my issue with little effort from me. Great app!!
Great Support Turned a Frustrating Start Around
Signing up was initially frustrating—I couldn’t get past the interests selection screen. But I reached out to support and got a prompt, thoughtful response from Whitney, one of the founders. Click bait subscription offer
Onboarding process froze right at the start. Tried multiple times during the day. The day after, onboarding process worked fine, but the offer had expired.
Also, the onboarding is very time consuming and demanding. You must add photos and fill in fields in the order prescribed or you get stuck.
This is a good idea, but execution and marketing needs improvement. Everyone hates false promotions.
Finally, the price is too steep.

Doesn’t work
It might be a good app, but it gets stuck when choosing my 3, it just spins forever
Intrusive and poor design
Not sure who designed this app, but they certainly did not have the user in mind. Harassing the user about notification settings every time I open the app and not allowing me to even look at my profile unless I upload a picture is just thoughtless design. Maybe someday this would be a worthy app but today I would recommend bypassing it.

Perfect for new gardeners
I’m completely new to food gardening. After spending hours trawling the internet for help, I just got lost. There’s so much information out there, but most of it didn’t apply to where I live or my (very limited) level of experience. Rhubarb cuts through all that noise. It takes the confusion and turns it into simple, tailored advice that actually makes sense for me. I’ve stopped googling everything—I just ask Rhubarb and get quick, trustworthy answers. The reminders help me stay on track and make sure I’m not over- or under-watering. What felt like a daunting task now feels totally manageable. This is exactly what tech should do—brilliant work, Rhubarb!

Couldn’t register yesterday for free lifetime membership
Been trying all day yesterday to get the lifetime subscription and finally at 6pm BST I could continue to sign up then found out I can’t get the free lifetime subscription. I was so looking forward to using this app but now it’s a waste of time. If this changes then I will update my review, until then I’m not happy.

Completely unsatisfied
Claimed to provide free lifetime but after creating account, adding my location, and completing onboarding only see paid access. No thanks, not a fan of false flagging to boost user base.

Wanted to love
I downloaded this app for free as part of apps gone free. It was free for today. I followed the instructions which were to download, complete onboarding, go to settings and select subscriptions and select 0.00 lifetime for free. I selected 0.00 for lifetime and it still 21.99. It said 0.00 and still charged me. I would like a refund and want to continue using as I think it will really educate me on starting gardens.

Think there may be a problem
Can’t get past the What are you interested in Page. Will give 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ & will review later if I can get past that page. Got it free from App Advice I hope if problem gets fixed.
Cannot onboard
Three attempts with greater than 2min wait for the app to “think” about selected interests (obligatory select at least 3), and the spinning wheel prevents movement forward and backward. Force close resets the process and gets caught in the same step, even with reduced options selected.
