Just an idea
It would be beneficial if you could hear both correct words said together once a correct match is made. My daughter just places anything together hoping the pieces stay but she's not listening to the words.
Too Basic
My 4 year old started playing this and just started matching the pictures before hearing the rhyming words. Although it does not let her put the wrong pictures together, but it also does not tell her the name of the pictures unless she clicks on the picture. This is confusing because she just clicks on the pictures and puts them wherever without hearing the sounds. Once she makes a match, she still hasn’t heard the rhyming words! I think it’s important for them to hear the rhyming words without needing to click on the pictures. Very frustrating!!

Great app. I use this all the time in my speech and language small groups. Great for keeping it a simple rhyming activity and great for more advanced naming skills. Wish we could control the ability to use basic CVC words.
need OS 7 update
I used to love alligator and grasshopper apps because you could record your own voice. ever since OS 7 that stopped working. repeated attempts to ask them for a fix has resulted in "I'm so sorry try another one of our apps. " while bitsboard is great I want the puzzle apps and the other "theme" apps to record new sounds! please fix what you have out on the market.

Rhyming words
The app needs to be supervised to work correctly. Children need to be taught to pay attention to the words and not just drag the pictures to a match. Great pictures. Children need to think about the word represented. Kinder teacher.
Good app
Even though it only holds my daughter's attention for a short time it has really helped her with her ability to recognize rhyming words. She does open it and play it on her own so I know she enjoys it.

Congratulations and Thankyou!! Simple and so effective. I love that it is so easy to change for our Australian terminology and accent. I am able to change nouns ie cot not crib. Being able to add my own images is fantastic. Preschoolers, autistic and special needs children love it.

No Sound
I am not getting sound on any of the grasshopper apps.
Flawed
I would love to give this 5 stars, but it has a serious flaw. The voice (which is pleasant and friendly) only names a pictured object when it is touched. My 4-year-old usually will only touch the picture on the left to drag it, so that is the only picture named. When a match is made correctly, the voice-over needs to say the rhyming words together. This omission renders the app useless for teaching rhymes.

I use this with my kindergarten class and they love it! Excellent app especially for children who have difficulty with hearing the rhyme.

One issue
So far with all the children I've seen use this app they almost immediately started sliding tiles over and guessing at random without listening to both words. This might be difficult to work but it' s definitely an issue. Also it would be nice if after the match was made both words in the pair were spoken (one after the other).
