This app, with premium (which is only a single payment of 5 bucks) pretty comfortably stumps every single one I’ve used or heard of. I used to use PolyNome before buying this, and though that app does a few things this doesn’t like creating custom rhythms and applying drumsets sounds to each note, and being able to change the metronome sounds (JP please add these), this has the necessities, and of course the random rhythm generator, which is stupid useful for anyone who needs to sightread or learn charts quickly. My only complaint is I feel stupid now for buying Syncopation. Great app.

Game Changer
This app and of course watching JP play have changed the game for me. I finally unlocked something that has been missing from my playing and this app made that happen. It’s all about the feel and inner clock.

Thank you jp for making this app. It’s an incredible tool for drummers. Everything is so intuitive; you can play around with different rhythms; it has a sight reading and a practice feature; it generates grooves in different time signatures, and it has a metronome built in? Best thing under 5 bucks. Well worth your money

JP is the best drum instructor on the planet.
JP has completely revitalized my love of playing the drums. He has helped me understand my instrument and my love for it in completely new ways. I’ve known how to PLAY music for quite awhile, but every day spent with JP has shown me that I still have so much more to learn. Consume everything this dude puts out and you will become a drummer. Not just someone who plays drums, but, A DRUMMER.

Great tool
I’m amazed how addictive this app can be. I am tempted to get a large monitor and position it in front of the drum kit for teaching. The only downside for me is reading while lines are progressing and having to go back to the top. I am reconciling it as ‘think of it as observing a repeat sign.’ The flexibility of the app is fantastic!

Unfortunately the app didn’t work for me
When I launch the app, I see a logo splash screen and then nothing else happens. 3 stars because the app was highly recommended by a trusted source. It’s a pitty I could not do anything other than look at the app’s logo.
Sight Reading
I absolutely cannot believe how much I learned over the course of the 80 day summer reading challenge. Using rhythm bot I learned more in 80 days about how to read music than I did throughout all of my junior high school and high school years of studying and reading music. This tool is the most incredible and innovative developed method in learning how to effectively sight read very complex music in an extraordinarily short time! Thanks, JP... you are truly a gift to the drumming community!

This app is really great, especially when paired with the rhythm lessons from JP Bouvet’s website. It’s really good to tighten up your rhythmic reading skills, and has great options to highlight and emphasize your personal areas of challenge.
Awesome metronome
I’ve been using this app since the day it came out. I’ve been playing drums for a long time and never really got my reading of drum notation to this level. I look forward to using it every day. I’ve also started to transcribe the rhythms which is a whole other aspect of learning. I cannot recommend this app enough. And JP’s website is top notch learning. Don’t delay.

Exactly what I needed!
I have played classical, then jazz piano for 50 years. Recently, I joined a big band and I need to sight read crazy rhythms at crazy tempos to keep up with the horns. This ap focuses very specifically on reading and understanding rhythms (among other things). Thank you.
