not working

I have been a subscriber for years and have enjoyed using the ios mobile app. The latest update does not seem to be working correctly. It will not display images in article view. The buttons at the top of the window appear blank. The text size setting slider button appears grayed out and inoperable. Thanks for looking for a remedy to these issues.

Can’t log in

I purchased the first month using my computer, but I can’t login on my iPhone

Lousy website

Keeps logging me off and won’t accept my password or send an instant login link.

Excessive logon requirements

Having to log on to view each article from an email notice is simply not workable. Even with a stored id and password, it takes a number of clicks to do so. You need some qualified IT experts to make your app comparable to your competitors. You are losing customers because of this. Lately even signing in is not working and I have to go to the app. Most readers will not work so hard to read an article!

Too Frustrating

In the past the clunky little software required constant logins making it a pain to use but you could open the e-edition and use the blue corner mark to read a story. The latest update took this away. You can see a picture of the page and enlarge only - just pathetic. They didn’t bother updating the guide video. Help is disabled. My NYT sub and app works great. My WaPo app also works well. Richmond is just working to drive readers away.

Update: now the app claims an update is available each time I open it. There is no update available but it opens this review. I guess they’d like the one star changed. Unfortunate I cannot lower it!

Love the paper, hate the app

The app looks homemade. You can get around it easily enough but it doesn't represent the RT-D or the Richmond area well.

Getting worse

Where is your tech dept??

Awful app

News Content is ok but now every time I open e-edition an annoying prompt tells me to update the app for a better experience. Reinstalling the app doesn’t make it go away.

The app is too hard to use

The app has an annoying feature. With any tap or movement of my iPad, the display resets to the top of the page that I was reading. This includes any tap on the table my iPad is sitting on.

Love this app

I get the daily times dispatch here at the house. This app allows me to get current updates and news. I can then at my leisure read items that serve my interest in my delivered newspaper. The best of two worlds. Thanks
