About

Rickey answers one question: what can I actually make right now? Tell it which bottles are on your shelf. It works out every cocktail you can pour tonight from what you already own — and shows you the drinks you are one bottle away from, so a single trip to the shop is worth making. WHAT IT DOES Tonight's menu. Not a search engine full of drinks you cannot make. A short list of what your shelf can actually pour, ranked, with the strength of each one so you know what you are handing somebody. One bottle away. The drinks you are missing exactly one ingredient for, and what that ingredient is. The Buy tab ranks bottles by how many new drinks each one unlocks, so you buy the bottle that pays off rather than the bottle you happened to remember. Pouring, one step at a time. A written method with the amount as the biggest thing on screen, a gauge showing how full the glass is as you build the drink, and timings where they matter. Made to be read at arm's length with wet hands. Your bar book. Every drink you poured, when, and what you thought of it. Rate it, write a note, and find it again next time. Host mode. A short list for a party, batched for the number of guests, so you are not doing arithmetic in front of people. Shopping list. Add what you run out of as you notice it. 529 recipes, seven of them written by hand — a real method, timings somebody actually took, and a note about the one thing that makes the difference. HOW IT WORKS It works offline. The whole catalogue ships inside the app and your bar book lives on your phone. There is no network call on any path you need — the unlocks are worked out on the device, in front of you. There is no login wall. You can use every part of Rickey without an account, forever. An account buys exactly one thing: the same bar book on a second phone. Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address, whenever you feel like it — or never. Everything is free. Every feature, for everyone, permanently. Nothing to unlock, nothing to subscribe to, no trial that ends. There is no paid tier and there is not going to be one. Written in English and in Mexican Spanish — written, not machine translated. PRIVACY Signed out, nothing leaves your phone. Signed in, your bar book is mirrored so a second phone can have it, and that is all: no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, nothing sold to anybody. You can export the whole thing as a readable file, and you can delete your account from inside the app. Please drink responsibly.

What's New in Rickey

1.0.1

Fixes, and two things that were missing. - You can now reset a forgotten password — there is a link on the sign-in screen. Before this there was no way back into an account made with an email address. - A pour can be removed from your bar book. Swipe the row; undo brings it back with its rating and note. - A tab label no longer wraps onto two lines on narrower phones.
