RICOH FlexRelease CX is a printing service that allows users to securely print documents from their iPhone or iPad to Ricoh MFPs and printers. The associated mobile application facilitates this process by enabling remote job submission and release.
The RICOH FlexRelease CX application is free to download and use. However, a subscription to Ricoh's "FlexRelease CX" printing service is required to enable printing functionality.
RICOH FlexRelease CX is compatible with iPhone 4 and later models, as well as iPad 2 and later models. It requires iOS 6.1.3 or later.
You can print Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), image files (JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PNG), text files (UTF-8), and HTML files. The maximum data size for one print job is 10MB.
After uploading your print job through the app, go to an available Ricoh MFP subscribed to FlexRelease CX. Log in with your ID and password, select your print job from the LCD panel, and release the document.
