Riddle the sphinx
Don’t understand the game, is there a tutorial available.
Love it
Great game. Really challenging. Great graphics, need to keep your notes. Have fun.
So excited
One of my favorite games as a kid on a computer. So excited to see it for iPad! It still a little challenging to navigate but it’s fine.
NOT iPad user friendly
I had a pc version many years ago but because of compatibility I was no longer able to use. I purchased the iPad version, and am so frustrated with the navigation. I cannot look down, crouch to get in certain areas etc, there are just so many things that you cannot do. I’ve searched for help with iPad navigation and get no where!

Fraud
I understand profit. Got it. But this game is a rip off in every way: bad game play, terrible navigation, and all they want is more money. Stay away! Truly offensive!
I HAVE LITERALLY WAITED FOR THIS GAME!!!
When I first got this game when I was a teen, I played my heart out on this game. I love everything Egypt and when I saw this game, I HAD to get it. I enjoyed it SO much!
I never forgot about this game and would always try to find other games that were like this and although satisfying, it never quite hit the mark that this game did! I remember thinking, “God, I wish they would make this game an app” and to my surprise.. THEY DID??!!!
This game now is even BETTER than before! They’ve updated it in so many ways. Navigation, item inventory, even a camera to take pictures of those clues you wish you could before, a magnifying glass to get up close and personal for more clues, they even added DLC!!!! 😆😆😆😆😆 Which I WILL BE BUYING!
If you’re thinking about buying the game, do it! If you love Nancy Drew games, MYST, or the like, you will absolutely LOVE this game!
To the developers, THANK YOU!! You have literally made a dream come true! Thank yoooouuuu!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 I hope there will be more to come whether adding more to this game or more games like this in the future!

A Flawless Port of a Classic Masterpiece
This game runs just as good, if not better, than both PC versions. The interface is intuitive and refreshingly responsive and quick.
Back in the day, games in the puzzle/adventure genre (much like the Myst series by Cyan) were notorious for not holding your hand. This game sets itself apart from all the derivative boring pay-to-win games that saturate the App Store (Thankfully), and will actually require a level of wit to complete.
There are other reviews that claim this game is too difficult, but it’s meant to be a challenge and test your patience and resilience (like a true puzzle/adventure game should).
This game will require you to take notes, draw maps and diagrams, take photos, and revisit areas to uncover clues you may have missed - all of which contribute to the thrill of the adventure and pay homage to what this genre is supposed to be about. Embrace it!
If you lean into the power of deduction and stick with it, the feeling of accomplishment when completing the game will be great.
Hats off to the writers, graphic artists, animators, and development team for bringing to mobile and tablet one of the few genuine puzzle/adventure games left.

Laura Croft eat your heart out, without the killing
I am really over the moon with the game Riddle of the Sphinx i am now playing on my ipad. Like about everybody I know, I am mesmerised with historical sites like the great pyramid of Cheops and the Sphinx, so, Laura Croft, eat your heart out. Hit a bump, contacted the producer, and got straight away in touch with someone. Service is second to none.
Definitely a favourite of mine, if solving puzzles grabs your interest. Interesting and mesmerising.

Very frustrating.
Hard to play on an iPhone. I remember the PC original game. It was so good! But this version is difficult to follow. Too many options to wander all over the inside of the pyramid with no guidance or real direct goals to achieve.
Frustrating at times but…
After my first rating I received a nice message concerning my experience with the difficulty of some of the puzzles. I’m going to continue with the game because the graphics really do convey the feeling of being there.
I’ll update my review as I go along…

Just like the original!
I played this archeological adventure on CD-ROM back in the 90s but never finished because of a scratch on the disc. It’s a dream come true to be able to play it all the way through finally! The story and graphics are beautiful and immersive. Be patient with the controls. They are retro point and click but well worth it.

Classic game ported to iOS!
This is a great port of a game my family spent many hours playing on PC. The team at Life Tree did such a wonderful job, highly recommend!
