Great game BUT...
Fun, challenging but obviously geared to eventually make it almost impossible to keep playing without purchasing help. Love the extra goal oriented activities but there should be rewards along the way instead of it taking so long to get through all the levels. Would give the game 5 stars if the game gave you more opportunities to earn money and tools without purchasing. Also now noticing it’s giving me the same games over and over. Maybe that’s because I’m at a higher level and they don’t have as many hard levels to beat??

I love love love this game and I did have this game for long time and I got stuck and I decided to delete that game and I just got it back and I can’t be where I was before when I logged into facebook for that game and I got pretty far but now I try to log into facebook for that game and it says that facebook is having issues of logging in to the game on facebook.

Love this game But it cheats
I absolutely love this game but it cheats you out of things u win and buy. If you buy rockets or rainbows, sometimes when u go to use them they won’t show on the board but it takes them off your count. If it wasn’t for them taking things you win and pay for and shorting you on them, I would’ve gave 5 stars.

It used to be better
This game has evolved over the past year but not in a good way. Some of the freebies, such as getting 2 free moves periodically , have been eliminated and I’m unable to accumulate any stars as I win games. The riddle game is as lame as it gets, so I seldom bother especially since I no longer get awarded any stars. Get Homescapes instead. Similar games, better storyline,, and they award you stars to help restore the mansion.

This game is fun but…
I really enjoy this game except for a few issues. First of all when you have finished the story line so far, you can’t earn stars or coins while you play. This is infuriating since you need so many stars for the stories once they are released. Also updates are very slow to release. I’ve been playing “competition” mode for weeks. I wouldn’t mind except for that fact I can’t earn stars or coins now either!! Otherwise I like the stories & game.

This game is fantastic from the story line to the puzzles, I’ve spent many wasted hours playing. I just wish it would get back to adding new levels because the competition levels are not what I liked about this game. I know Covid has made things rough but eventually I will just quit playing and find a new game.

Perfection
I’ve had this game for a very long time. I’ve gotten pretty far into it, and I have spent only a handful of dollars (Not because I HAD to, but because I wanted to keep progressing without waiting for hearts). This game’s story is interesting. Though a bit easy on that aspect, the actual levels you play to earn stars gets more and more complex the higher the levels go. The game alleviates the toughness with throwing a couple of easy levels your way, then going back up to its higher difficulty again.
The only downside (which isn’t big and doesn’t deserve it to lose its 5 star rating) is that there’s not a lot of weekly or monthly events. It’s mainly just story mode, which, to me is cool. A good break away from all the multiplayer games.
Don’t ask me how many hours I’ve put into this game cause I’m sure it’s pretty high! 😂😂

Don’t worry about the story
This is a pretty good match 3 game. It has some creative mechanics and only two get more stuff ads. Does it have a limit on how many lives you get per session? Yes. Can you buy more lives using in game currency that can be purchased with real world money? Yes and yes, it is a free-to-play game and the developers need to make money.
My issue is with the story. Every time you beat a level you get a star. Collect stars to progress in the story. Except I find the story an inane hand holding chore to progress through. The characters are awful, the plot discoveries are spoon fed at a predictable rate, and the story arcs are unsatisfactory. The main character you deal with Cyril from Archer, a grandiose chicken, a whinny kid, a grumpy guy, an arrogant guy, and the sheriff. All of whom are amazed at your ingenuity and dealing with the spoon fed discoveries. Simply awful.

A fun game, but....
Love the game, however, I play a couple of days on some
hard levels, and it gives you a very limited chances to win.
Which is fine for a while, then get frustrated. I am in the competition and it hard to win the individual goal, to get rewards. Also, don’t get coins or stars any more!

Looks to be a good game. Just started and so far it’s still very easy to keep on advancing. As we all know these type of games tend to get much harder ( as far as the matches go ) so when I progress further in the game I’ll write another review and let you know what I think.
I want to keep playing but the game won’t let me!
I like playing this game but now I’m stuck. My screen is stuck to one spot and I can’t pan the screen to go to my next location (which is off screen). This is relating to the “Who is the Murder” side quest. This error now makes the game unplayable. I tried to contact the developers but I need my support ID which I can’t access with the screen frozen!

Actually has a plot!
This is more than a match 3 game. There’s episodes with plot. You need to fix objects, unlock trunks, put together torn paper, and collect important tools and clues. This is my new favorite game. I’m already on stage 391. Usually by now I would have deleted it but this game is actually satisfying beyond beating one stage at a time.

Great match 3 mystery
Basic match 3, nice graphics and smooth animations. Lots of fun events. Story is wacky but keeps you invested. I Iike how the mystery parts actually give you something to do as you follow the story, even if the clues are really simple to decipher, it adds another layer.
My one request would be able to turn off the “hint” prompts that show up at crime scenes, I think it would be more fun to figure it out than just reading what to do. Also, more varieties of crime scene puzzles would be great.

Very well made game, but it’s pay to play
So this is a very well designed game. One of the best. The problem is, unlike similar games, there are specific levels where you have to pay in order to have a chance at beating the level. So you get about 100 levels for free and afterwards, it’s around $2 for every 20 levels. The good news is, there are literally hundreds of similar games in App Store.

When I’m playing the match 3 part of the game if I leave the app for even a second to respond to a text I loose all my progress because it resets the whole game!
I’ve been a few moves away from winning and loose everything. I even lost all my progress on the police car challenge because it said I had used all my badges and moved me all the way from spot 9 to the beginning.
I like this game a lot but I’m getting really fed up with this aspect.

Finally, a game that gets it right.
I’ve tried many different matching type games and normally they all get old quick. This game is different, the levels are just hard enough to be entertaining but not frustrating. I’ve been playing for about 4 months and have never hit a pay wall. The story is pretty interesting but if not super important if that’s not your thing. The puzzles to solve the crime are fun but not too challenging. Earning coins is pretty easy and the public challenges are fun to compete in. I recommend this as a nice time killer and a bit of a brain teaser.

Forces close too often
Be in middle of a level and it forces close making me loose either a life or time against my infinite lives. Wish that the timer/clock for infinite lives would pause while outside of game (while not playing). Also wish that when there’s 2 playing fields in a level and you create a booster and you don’t activate that booster before getting to the 2nd field that those boosters would transpose to the next field, if that makes any sense.

Awesome game ever!
I’ve only completed two cases and I am already passed level 40. So far it looks like there’s some paranoia activity going on in this game. We started playing it day before yesterday and I already love it. I mean I played a few other matching games before but this one, Even better than some of the criminal case games I’ve played before. I am very addicted to this very best and awesome game ever!

Game is fun, but...
I enjoy playing, but lately the game has been lagging and sometimes I don’t get the stars I earned. Other than that, great strategic game! Also, minor complaint. I feel the boosters are a little on the expensive side as well as adding additional moves. I would be more inclined to spend the money if they were cheaper 😊

Ho hum game with glimpses of greatness.
I wish I could give this more stars but I cannot. All uniqueness in this game is avoided fairly quickly. Standard Match-3 game. The difficulty ramps up, and that were the game get expensive if you get addicted, as the player is presented with a paywall to play more better. Underhanded but again fairly standard. The unique parts are sidestepped often. The story is pretty interesting, at least for a while, and I wish I could just focus on that, but it does not dive deep enough, and the candy-coated cut and paste puzzles and interface do not match the theme at all. I do like that there is a variety of puzzles, as that would set it apart, but I wish there were more.
