It looks like Uber, but that’s where similarities end.
As a first-time tourist to Bermuda, I was excited to find this app, because despite the plethora of taxis on the island, it is very difficult to book anything unless you know someone already. And literally everything is coordinated through WhatsApp.
I was able to set up my account easily enough. But when it came to actually booking a driver, there was never any confirmation and, absent confirmation on an important drive, I used one of my personal on-island contacts to recommend and connect me with somebody through WhatsApp and booked that driver. I tried to cancel the ride that I booked through this app, multiple times and hours in advance, but it errored out every time. There was no further support offered in the app.
To my surprise, I received a call on WhatsApp from a driver at the appointed time, although that there was never any confirmation in the app of a driver being assigned. If I had not kept a screenshot of the errors I’d received when trying to cancel. I might’ve been charged for a drive I no longer needed.
This app is not ready for primetime. And it is most certainly not Uber.

App seems unfinished
It gladly recorded my CC, but couldn’t actually order a taxi. It seemed to get locked up.
Doesn’t work
I’ve tried using this today and it will not accept the destination even though it comes up as an option!

Unable to update to latest version
I have followed all instructions when the app is open called Bermuda Taxi and I do not see anywhere to update to the latest version.
What a joke
Good luck getting a taxi using this app. Unlike Uber you can’t follow the progress of your ride. You get an email telling you your taxi will arrive at a specified time but they don’t show up. FYI can’t get them to pick up the phone either. Horrible service.

What a disaster this company is. Spent a week on this amazing island and the taxi company is the only blight. Unreliable, expensive and unpredictable. Please God, bring Uber to Bermuda and put this business and its customers out of their misery.
Completely broken
New riders sign up is broken, trying to sign up simply prompts an error message telling you a license photo needs to be uploaded but I'm not signing up to be a driver, I just want a ride...there isn't even a field for a license photo of course because why would there be, I'm simply trying to sign up for a ride.
