GPS connectivity is tons better than Strava

Riding without a designated head unit and only using a smart phone, Strava gps connectivity is terrible. I haven’t had issues with Ride with GPS. I wish I used Ride with GPS earlier and not have so many rides with data corrupted through Strava

Great Cycle App

I love Ride with GPS. It’s a great app to track your bike rides. I like the library of other cycle routes to try out.

Informations orales perfectibles

1-Les informations mélangent le français et l’anglais. Une seule langue permettrait de rendre l’information plus claire.
2-l’accent des informations en anglais est si mauvais qu’il est peu compréhensible. Exemple: « kip rit » au lieu de keep right.

Mr

Ride with GPS is an awesome app that every cyclist should utilize to plan and navigate routes

Love this app

Great app for organized rides. Easy to navigate and follow.

Killed my battery

I’m surprised it doesn’t have a dark mode. This would be an easy way to extend battery life, but apparently it’s not an option. They recommend using a battery pack, but I’d much rather pack light.

Really powerful

My Miata club and bike club both use it. It’s fairly easy to create routes and share with GPS devices for the bike, and even easier for car routes.

Too complicated

Still have not figured it out.

Not Worth It

Too expensive for what it does. Doesn’t reroute if you miss a turn just makes noises at you.

A Very Useful Tool

I have been using RWGPS for years. Never disappoints!

great way to never get lost

i rarely go riding without turning this on. it is easy to use, easy to follow and keeps me from that sinking feeling of being lost.

Battery eater

Indispensable for planning, but it’s really hard to convince it to turn off, and it DEVOURS battery power with unmatched voracity, even when running in the background. Even when one has tried to turn it off. It it really persistent about eating battery life. Ran through a weekend’s worth of battery power in half a day; the rest of my trip consisted of airplane mode with GPS turned off, and cautiously opening the app to check location/route.

Life Saving Partner

This application has saved me from getting lost even when I only us it for a reference when I'm lost. Great app for group rides with 29-30 turns.

Planing routs

Consistently when I try to navigate to a route from my house, it often leads me to a spot that I cannot pass on a gravel bike, and it is generally not very good

Free trial pushed me to yearly sub

I needed this app for a couple week bicycle tour. It looked the trial would go into a monthly subscription but instead I am charged $60 as soon as the 7 days ended.

Great for Wandrer uploads

I like RWGPS because my Wandrer world progress is publicly visible. Thanks!

Clunky

The app is not consistent for routing, nor function. The app is not intuitive and requires more learning than it should.

Swiss Army Knife

Find rides, navigate routes, record your rides. This app does it all. Another cool feature: Follow your friends’ rides.
