RideIQ 2.3 A rebuilt RideIQ Score, plus a long list of fixes so every ride gets scored. THE NEW RIDEIQ SCORE Your score is now ranked against your own riding over the past year: 0 is your easiest ride, 100 your hardest. - Power, heart rate and GPS are blended instead of trusting whichever sensor you wore. Each signal is judged against its own history, so switching bikes, skipping the heart-rate strap or adding a new power meter won't skew your scores. - Rides without a power meter are scored properly. GPS is now a full signal, not a fallback. - Volume is now called Load. Intensity and Load appear as bars with a tick at your median, so you can see at a glance where a ride sat. - When your sensors tell different stories, tap "Signals disagree" to see why, such as drafting in a group, or improving fitness producing more power at the same heart rate. - Just getting started? Scores now begin after 13 rides instead of 25, with a countdown. - The same ride scores identically on all your devices. Your past scores are recalculated once on first launch, so expect them to change. They now reflect your own riding. SCORES THAT ALWAYS APPEAR - Fixed scores that could stay on "Computation pending" indefinitely. - Rides that sync late, or arrive while the app is catching up, are picked up automatically. - A ride still being analysed shows a preliminary score that updates in place, instead of holding up later rides. - No single ride can delay the others for more than 48 hours. MORE ACCURATE RIDE DATA - Heart rate or power added in Strava after upload is now detected and used. - Rides with missing sensor data are re-fetched automatically, including rides already in the app. - Rides deleted in Strava are removed, and the deletion syncs across your devices. - Only a real power meter is used to judge effort, never Strava's estimated power. - Descents no longer inflate your score. A fast downhill is gravity, not effort. - Hard efforts are measured against you, not the ride, so an easy spin no longer claims high-intensity efforts. - Personal bests now name the sensor that set them ("New 20-min HR High"). - Ride Memory no longer calls a ride that set a 20-minute best a "lighter day".
