What's New in RideReady
1.9

Thank you to everyone who has written in since launch. Most of this release comes straight from your suggestions — particularly the prep timeline, which now lines up far better with how show days actually run. DARK MODE RideReady now follows your phone's appearance setting. To turn it on, go to Settings → Display & Brightness on your iPhone and choose Dark — RideReady will match. Every screen has been reworked so text, icons and buttons stay readable, which helps at 5am in the lorry when you don't want a bright screen in your face. TEXT THAT SCALES The app now respects the text size you've set on your phone, including the larger accessibility sizes. Every screen reflows rather than shrinking or cutting words off, so you can actually read your timeline in bright sun. YOUR TIMELINE KNOWS WHERE YOU ARE On show day, the step you should be doing right now is highlighted. If you're running behind, the timeline tells you by how much, so you can see at a glance what needs to give. A PREP SCHEDULE THAT MATCHES HOW SHOW DAYS REALLY RUN This one came directly from rider feedback. The default timeline now starts with Prep and Load, adds a Rider Gear Check before you mount, gives warm-up a more realistic 30 minutes, and drops the steps most of you were deleting anyway. Whichever way you create a timeline, you now get exactly the same schedule. ADJUST YOUR TIMES ON ANY PLAN Step timings can now be adjusted whether or not you subscribe. Plaiting takes 25 minutes for some horses and 90 for others, and a schedule that doesn't match your horse isn't much use to anyone. FREE TRIAL NOW MEASURED IN SHOW DAYS The trial used to run for 14 days from installing. Most riders compete about once a month, so it often ran out before they'd taken the app to a competition. Your trial now covers a full competition day — the day the app is actually for. CALENDAR SYNC The sync button now tells you whether a timeline is already in your calendar. Deleting a test also removes its events, instead of leaving them behind. A CHANGE TO THE DOCUMENT VAULT The Document Vault is now part of RideReady Pro, alongside Care Scheduling. Your documents are still there and nothing has been deleted — you'll need a subscription to open them. It's included for the whole of your trial. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE Screen names in place of the logo at the top of every screen, a shorter first run, clearer empty screens, corrected rounding on multi-judge score totals, and a long list of layout fixes throughout. As always, if something's not right, tap Send Feedback in Settings. Every message is read.
