What's New in Ridle
1.2.0
October 5, 2026
What's New in Ridle This update brings a major evolution to Ridle, with new ways to train, explore, understand your progress, and take better care of your bike. Indoor Cycling You can now record indoor rides without GPS, with dedicated tracking, summaries, metrics, and editing tools. Indoor workouts imported from Apple Health are automatically recognized, while rides recorded with Ridle can also be saved back to Apple Health. Explore More with Atlas Discover how much of your surroundings you've explored with 'Atlas'. Ridle now maps the roads you've already ridden and can suggest routes that head towards areas you haven't explored yet, helping you gradually expand your cycling territory. Climb Analysis & Ride Strategy Ridle can now detect climbs during your rides and analyze them afterwards. For supported climbs, you can see elevation profiles, compare your effort with previous attempts, and, with Ridle+, follow personalized pacing targets designed to help you beat your records. Training Trends Track your cycling evolution over time with new trend views for weeks, months, and seasons. Compare recent performance with previous periods across distance, time, elevation, rides, speed, and indoor/outdoor activity. Find the Best Time to Ride Ridle+ can now analyze the next 24 hours of weather forecasts and identify the best windows for a 30-minute, 1-hour, or 2-hour ride, considering temperature, rain, wind, and daylight. No good outdoor window? Ridle can suggest an indoor ride instead. Understand Every Ride Better New Route Cards help you keep track of recurring routes, including your record, typical time, latest attempt, and performance trend. With 'What Changed?', you can also compare a new ride against your personal baseline to understand what was different. Comeback Mode Lost your streak? Ridle can now suggest a comeback ride from Home to help you get back into your routine. Your Bikes Create profiles for your bikes and keep track of their usage and maintenance. Ridle can estimate wear based on distance since the last service and remind you when maintenance may be due. Ride Fuel Ridle+ now helps you plan when to drink and eat during a ride, adapting recommendations to factors such as temperature, ride duration, and indoor/outdoor activity. Weekly Streaks Streaks have been redesigned around consistent weekly riding instead of consecutive days. Ride at least once every week to keep your streak alive. Ridle will let you know when your current streak is at risk. New weekly streak achievements have also been added, while previously earned daily streak achievements remain available as legacy trophies. A More Focused Experience The main navigation has been refined, with a dedicated Ride action always accessible from the tab bar. Your profile is now opened directly from your avatar, while starting a workout gives you a clear choice between Outdoor and Indoor mode. This update also includes numerous localization improvements, UI refinements, reliability fixes, and performance improvements.
