Poor app but...
Content excellent. App so slow and heavy. It seems to belong to a different decade. Pity really.
Great. Type just needs to be a little bigger making it easier to read.

Poor app
No index so have to manually scroll which is soooo slow. Or search I suppose. Then, when you find your glass, tap ‘Shop’ it takes you to the front page of the shop, not the glass you have just laboriously searched out. Useless! Now deleted.
Varietal-Specific Glasses?
This is probably picky. We particularly enjoy the “black” wines from the Cahors region of France, and my wife and I have spent time there. The region has a very particular wine glass for its wines, and I was disappointed to see that Riedel suggests a glass for these wines that is not the glass developed by that region for its earthy Malbecs. Cahors wines are a small market, to be sure, but if you’re going to advertise that you have varietal-specific glasses...well, then have them.

Hilariously bad
This is the worst app I've seen in a long time. So bad it's worth downloading to see. I don't think the person that made this has ever even used an iOS app.
Missing ranges
This app is still missing the veritas and the heart to heart ranges, which were released before the last update ???.?

This is a handy reference to identify the best glass from your collection to serve a wine. The glass collections show all of Riedel's current glass groups. And the wine glass guide pairs the wine with glasses from several collections. However, it does not list all wine types, including Chianti. The video guides are a nice addition to the app. They address FAQs satisfactorily.

I like serving my wines in the right glass, I have cab/merlot, p noir, Syrah. Aromatic wht, Montrachet and champagne. I primarily drink new world but when I'm trying to figure out old world regions and varietals, this app assists me in choosing proper wine glass for the job!

Pleasantly surprising
For something which is ultimately a marketing ploy, this app is fairly helpful. It allows you to figure out which type of glass to use with each type of wine, but also gives you am opportunity realize what types of wines have a similar chemical composition, based on the type of glass they require. My only suggestion for future versions is to include a search function so you do now have to scroll through all of the wine varieties to get to the one you are looking for at a given time.

Not always easy to see which glass for the Inez's we own...but it has been great for the most part.
No mention of Tequila?
The sheer diversity of wines and other alcoholic drinks featured by this application is educational to say the least, however there is no mention of Tequila.
As I have a recent interest in the Mexican icon I thought an aged Tequila would be a pleasure to drink out of fine glassware.
Looks like forums elsewhere have an opinion on which Riedel glassware is appropriate for a decent Añejo.

Very simple, but yet very useful.
Somehow, I would had like to had the ability to do reverse searches (for a glass, each varietal can we use?). This would have helped me before purchasing glasses.
