How to cancel Rift subscription ⁉️

User reviews

please help???

i REALLY want to use the app. it looks amazing and genuinely thought out. but my ONLY problem is that i’m unable to access it without subscriptions. i know that you’re supposed to cancel the 3 day trial last minute, but i can’t access even that.

to fix this, i mainly suggest adding an X button to click out of the paywall and NOT force users to subscribe, even if you can cancel it

Pretty good

Okay in my opinion, I can see why some people would be upset in having to pay for a subscription for the app, but I’ve bought it personally and I’d say there’s a pretty good amount of content in the app that comes with it. I like that we can create and customize our own subliminals to our fitting and that it includes guided meditations as well. There are other features such as having the social media app dupes to make it feel more personalized to each DR and users phone and many more things that cover most aspects of scripting. (As someone that often scripted in apps like Notion, this was quite a bit easier to navigate and pretty much already set up for the user to just fill in the blank)

The only kind of “complaint” that I might have is the use of pictures in certain sections. When I go into sections such as face claims and appearances and try to upload the photo, clicking out of the toggle then back into it causes them to disappear no matter how many times you insert it. I understand that it’s a relatively new app and bugs are still probably being worked out lol, it’s just a tad bit annoying 😅

Other than that, a pretty decent app!

Response from developer

Hi Thank you for your feedback and brining this bug to our attention, its being patched up right now, the new updated version of the app, with the bug fix will be released by mid week.

paywall??

why would you hide the app behind a paywall.. let some things be free some things you have to pay. why do i have to pay just to use the app i general?

Response from developer

There is a 3 day free trial, after the trial if you cancel the subscription you still get access to the free version of the app

Appearance not saving

This app is amazing! However, when I try put in my face claim and body claim in the appearance section, close the apearance, and then go back into it, my face claim and body claim is not there

Response from developer

Will work on fixing this ASAP

Lots of potential but…

This app is beautiful and it has lots of potential however where it seems to fall short is in the implementation.

Directions: there are not clear directions on how all the functions in the app work. You just have to try And see what they do. For instance I didn’t know there was an option to turn off the voice in WBTB until I accidentally pressed it.

Subliminals: First the AI voices are horrible. It is possible to have natural sounding AI voices at this point but that’s not what they have. You can record your own voice though but that leads to the second problem which is that there is no way to change the volume on the recording. You also can not review the recording once you save it, you can use it or delete it but not view the affirmations or edit it. The volume of the recording is definitely not at subliminal level. And the ambient audios (rain ocean etc;) only play for 4 minutes.

The shifting audios: the audio shouldn’t say CR or DR but rather current reality or desired reality…those terms keep the cadence. The audio and the ambient sound cut out abruptly in the heartbeat method literally mid sentence. It’s weird. It may be because I had it at .75 speed…if so that’s a syncing issue that needs to fixed. I’d also love the option of choosing either a female voice or a male voice for each method.

WBTB: This feature is the reason I paid for the app, as I saw an ad that mentioned it. Again no directions so you know what to expect. No way to choose the alarm sound or volume, or information to know what the sound or volume are. The first night I thought I’d set the alarm and I hadn’t. The next night I set the alarm correctly but at the default setting so it didn’t go off at the right time. The third night the alarm went off but was too low for me to hear it (and I’m a light sleeper). I’ll try again but this is an advertised feature and it seems like more work needs to be placed into it.

I believe this app will be phenomenal once all the features work

Response from developer

Hi, these are really good suggestions, were constantly updating the app, so will definitely make some of the changes you have suggested. The AI voices are not our design we made a conscious effort to use as little AI as possible in the app, those voices are the generic voices that come from apple, there already installed in your phone. In terms of the WBTB alarm not being loud we found in our research that WBTB alarm is most effective when it gently wakes someone up, if the alarm is too loud then its hard to reach hypnagogic state after some one wakes up, so deafeating the purpose of the WBTB alarm. But will definitely look to make some of the other changes you have suggested.
