About

RigER Chat is the work chat for oilfield rental and energy service companies that run on RigER. Every job and ticket has its own chat, and the people named on the document are the people in the chat. A CHAT FOR EVERY JOB When a job, field ticket or rental ticket is created in RigER, its chat is created with it: named after the document and holding exactly the people the document names - the crew, the field technician, the dispatcher, the service manager. Nobody creates groups or invites anyone. When the crew changes on the ticket, the chat follows. When the work is closed, the chat is archived and its history stays readable. FIND THE RIGHT CHAT Five tabs: Favourites, Mentions, Direct, Jobs and To-do. Jobs is grouped by customer, then job, then its tickets, each showing the status RigER gives it. Search finds chats and the words inside messages, across every chat you can read. THE DOCUMENT BESIDE THE CONVERSATION Each job chat has Document, Attachments and Timesheet tabs next to Chat. Read the job's details - customer, location, equipment, status - and open the files RigER holds for it without leaving the conversation. APPROVALS THAT ARE RECORDED Approve, reject or watch a colleague's message, and your answer is saved to RigER under your name, with the time. Send an approval request to named people or to the whole chat, with an optional deadline. The To-do tab shows what waits for your answer, the requests you sent, and who has not answered yet. HOURS WHERE THE WORK IS DISCUSSED The Timesheet tab lists the crew's shifts for the job. Record your own shift - travel to, on location, travel from - and it is saved to RigER. Where your organisation has voice transcription and AI set up, a spoken shift report can fill in the timesheet for you to check and save. BUILT FOR THE FIELD Send photos, files and PDFs, record voice messages, share your current location as a map link, react, reply and @mention people. Where your organisation has AI turned on, translate a message into your language or rework a draft before you send it. ONE APP, PHONE OR TABLET On a phone the chat list and the conversation take turns. On an iPad, the list sits beside the open chat. TRY IT WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Tap Demo tour on the sign-in screen. The app opens on sample data built into it, works offline, and walks you through job chats, approvals and timesheets step by step. Working access requires a RigER account issued by your organization. Messages, files and records are kept on a chat server dedicated to your organization and in your RigER database.
