What's New in Right Note

1.5

July 12, 2012

+ Help for all Options and Settings Starting up from version 1.0 up to today there came new and new features. A lot of them thanks user feedback through the support mail :) Right Note is getting a bit complicated and not every option can be explained just with a short name. That's why now you have a "Help & Tips" for each of them. Just press the name or "?" icon next to it. + 180 spin Now Right Note works in both landscape positions. Sorry for overlooking it, especially for the iPad. Thanks Birgit and Scott for pointing out that it didn't work well combined with a smart cover that can be attached only from one side.

FAQ

What does Right Note do?

Right Note is an educational app designed to help musicians improve their ear training. It focuses on developing skills in recognizing intervals, pitches, and melodies. The app provides various exercises and feedback mechanisms to aid in this learning process.

What are the key features of Right Note?

Key features include four exercise modes: Interval, Interval in context, Pitch, and Melody. It boasts microphone recognition allowing users to play along with their own instrument, customizable settings for a personalized experience, and detailed analysis of mistakes.

Is Right Note free to use?

Yes, the developer has made Right Note free for an indefinite period. It was previously a paid app but is now available at no cost. Users are encouraged to download and spread the word.

What devices is Right Note compatible with?

The app is designed for iOS devices. There is a known compatibility glitch with iOS 10, which can be worked around by tapping the switch to the desired state and then dragging the knob to the opposite state. The app is not compatible with iOS 11 and later.

How can Right Note help me as a musician?

This app helps you develop your relative pitch and use it in context with your instrument. It's particularly useful for improving melody recognition and understanding intervals, even when they appear within a musical phrase, bridging the gap between knowing intervals and hearing them in melodies.
