What's New in Right Rudder
2.0.0
October 20, 2026
What's New in 2.0 • A Today tab: see your day first. Who is scheduled, what is next, and what needs attention. • A Billing tab: set your dual and ground rates once and they apply to every student. Invoices fill in from the lesson time you logged in the period. Choose Invoice or Prepaid billing, record payments, and export PDF invoices and statements for all students or one. Block hours and per-student rates are gone. • Ground time: every flight lesson starts with 0.5 hour of ground time. Change it any time. • Finish Lesson: a button at the end of a lesson finishes it as flown, even if some items did not need repeating. The percentage stays real. • Progress you can trust: a student's progress counts every checked item across their assigned lessons. Recent Activity brings lessons, endorsements, invoices, payments and account changes into one feed. • Updated lessons and endorsements: endorsement wording follows AC 61-65K. A new 46-lesson CFI category covers the FOI, T1 to T18, FI lessons, spin training and checkride prep. Updates never erase checked work. • New layout: the iPhone tabs are Today, Students, Billing, Endorsements and Settings. Lessons now lives in Settings on iPhone and in the sidebar on iPad. • Apple Intelligence summaries: draft debrief and training summaries on your device. Off until you turn it on. • Hand off a student: Share Progress sends a student's record to another instructor. • A short What's New and a 7-step tour. Replay the tour any time from Help. Your records stay in your own iCloud. Thank you for flying with us.
