Saved me so many times in Chengdu
Just got back from 2 weeks in China. This app was a lifesaver at local restaurants where nobody spoke English and the menu was all Chinese. You just scan it and it tells you whats in each dish, like whether its spicy, what meat it is, how its cooked. The allergy card feature is also great, I'm allergic to peanuts and being able to show a Chinese card to the waiter gave me so much peace of mind. Only wish it worked offline too for when I didnt have signal

Super useful for business trips to China
Was in Guangzhou for Canton Fair and coworkers kept taking me to local restaurants. Menus were completely in Chinese. This app let me scan and actually understand what I was ordering instead of just pointing randomly.

Saving for my China trip
Saving this for my China trip in September. Finally an app that tells you what's actually in the dish, not just a word-for-word translation that makes no sense. The spice level info is a huge bonus.
Better than google!!
Works nationwide!! tested it on menus from Beijing and Shanghai style restaurants here at home. Accurate and way more informative than Google Translate for food specifically.
