Booked P/L calculations keep on changing

The app is fine for placing an order. However, when it comes to reference the Profit/Loss bookings, the app shows different figures every now and then. First it shows a different amount which probably included the STT and 3 weeks later it shows a different amount which excludes the STT. This is frustrating as there is no confidence on whether the booked profit/loss amounts are correct. This further leads to a miscalculation in the actual investments and deciding the spending budget and overall utilisation of the profits. We tend to overspend just because the amounts are wrongly calculated. Kindly stick to the real time general formula used for these calculations so customers are confident of their profits and can accurately utilise these amounts. Also even after depositing the amount before making a purchase, they still charge being interest, not sure for what.

Review app

The app is very slow, and the brokerage is quite high. Even after charging such high brokerage, it seems that the company is not working enough on improving the platform.

In today’s modern era, companies like Dhan and Angel One are continuously adding new features to improve the trading experience. They provide advanced options such as scalper tools, robo options, and single-click buy and sell.

At the time of buying, traders can also set Stop Loss, Target, and Trailing Stop Loss, which helps control risk and prevents unnecessary losses.

However, despite charging heavy brokerage, the platform of Motilal Oswal Financial Services still feels outdated and lacks many modern trading features.

Currently, only one order can be placed at a time.
If we want to set a Stop Loss, we must cancel the Target order first, and if we want to set a Target, we must cancel the Stop Loss. This process takes too much time, and during that delay, our profitable trade can easily turn into a loss.

My sincere advice is that the company should seriously focus on upgrading its platform and adding modern trading features. Otherwise, it will become very difficult to compete in the market.

In the end, traders will always move toward platforms that offer better technology and a faster trading experience. Companies that continue using outdated technology may face the same situation that Nokia faced when it failed to adapt to new technology.

FULLY FRAUND App never install this app & use

Donot download this app or dont come in their agents talk MO is greddy really deduct charges and no one will tell about that charges agent just want to ear money by make you placing order donot come in their talk or their predictions of
NIFTY and BANKNIFTY they made me loss 22k rupees in which they deducted 5.6k tax I don't know which tax they deducted even they dont know and their agent changes his statement everytime no one helping and they are mailing me to go delhi to their office this is really fraud donot go beyond zerodha, upstoxs and angel broking. I am going to post screenshot of taxes they deducted and going to advertise everywhere so we can be aware from these types of fraudulent services. There agent name is janvi and I dont know the other agent name they made me open account account but didn't tell me about any charges but MOSTILAL OSWAL deducted about 8k in which 5.6k tax and left their charges then they said this is all my fault they trade where charges are high and won't tell you about anything before happening!

Profile in loss due to their advisory

I am extremely unsatisfied with the advisory service at Motilal Oswal. Almost every call from your advisors has led to losses, and despite trading since January my portfolio is now down nearly 25%. While I face consistent losses, your team regularly posts pictures in WhatsApp groups of clients being profitable, which feels misleading and frustrating. In over six months, no advisor has taken real responsibility—calls only come to push trades, not to guide. Two months ago, one “dedicated advisor” even convinced me to book a big loss and buy another stock, assuring he would turn my profile positive, but that stock alone is now down over 14%. All of this is already reflected in your system and app, so no further evidence is needed—this is the performance of your own team.

Lackluster Application With A Horrible Notification System

The app gets the job done for trading and investing in stocks, however, that’s where the good news ends. It has two major flaws with its push notification system:

1) Duplicate notifications: It sends the exact same notification one after the other, cluttering up the notification center of the iPhone. Please fix it!

2) Lack of user control: The app does not let you customize what you want to get notified about. If you only want updates about your portfolio and don’t want to hear about market news, promotions, stock picks, etc. you’re out of luck. The only option is to block all notifications from the app which could be a risky move given your money is on the line.

Fraud executives.

Stay away from motilal oswal fraud executives. They will give you false assurance of earning easy money. They will use lots of technical terms like momentum, sentiments, graph, candles etc to indulge you into trades which were never profitable at all. All you will get is loss and most to your loss will be motilal oswal brokerage which proves that the company itself is after clients money and trained there executive accordingly. I was also frauded by their executive Rohan Sambhaji Bhanusali, I lost around 55k of which 38k looted by motilal oswal as brokerage.
Do all your trades as per your knowledge and close your motilal account and shift to other platform to save your hard earned money. Always remember if someone has that much knowledge to earn from market they will be not helping you but turn there thousand into crores.

Notification issues

I have been using this application for couple of years, I am so disappointed by the performance, I don’t understand the work class engineers that India has cannot make a good product for this application. I have notifications sitting on my main page while app has nothing new. Very small issue but makes me curious about some complicated operations in the application.
