About
RinkLog tracks statistics for one hockey, ringette or dek hockey player, not a team. A parent in the stands taps what happens on the ice, and the player finishes the season with real data instead of a scoresheet.
There is no roster, no coach login and no team account.
WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL
Arenas rarely have coverage. RinkLog writes everything to the device first and syncs when the phone comes back online. A game started with no network finishes with no network, and the screen stays awake from the first shift to the last.
EIGHTEEN BUTTONS, ONE THUMB
Ice time, shots on goal, missed and blocked shots, goals, assists, hits, shots the player blocks, team and opponent goals while on the ice, penalties, team and opponent scoring chances while on the ice, takeaways, giveaways, faceoffs won and lost. Ringette adds blue line passes completed and missed.
You choose which buttons sit on your board and you drag them where you want them.
Every goal can carry where it came from, one of five shot types, and where it entered the net. Every faceoff can carry the exact dot it was taken on. Danger zones are classified on their own.
EVEN STRENGTH, POWER PLAY, PENALTY KILL
Ice time is split three ways. If you forget to switch to the power play, you can correct a shift after the fact. The clock stops on its own when you tap a goal or a penalty.
FORTY SIX CHARTS
Twenty six for skaters, twelve for goalies, five heat maps and three panels. Shot origins on an interactive rink, where goals entered the net, a danger zone breakdown, cumulative points, shooting and chance percentages, time by situation, average shift length, and a six axis performance radar.
FULL GOALIE MODE
Saves, goals against, save percentage, goals against average, shutouts, high, medium and low danger save percentage, freeze rate, rebound rate, rebounds that became goals, quality starts and GSAx. Its own board, its own period selector with overtime, its own heat maps.
EXPORTS
CSV and PDF for a chart, a game summary or a full season. A .rinklog file that carries a complete player from one device to another. A shareable player card as an image or a video.
The video card is composed entirely on your device. The clip never leaves your phone.
A CALENDAR INSIDE THE PLAYER'S PROFILE
Ten event types: game, practice, tournament, clinic, tryout, exhibition, skate sharpening, appointment, training and other. Drag one onto a date to create it, drag it again to move it. An event can come back every week or every two weeks. Skate sharpening included.
Paste your league's calendar link, from Spordle, TeamSnap, Goalline or another provider, and your games add themselves. The schedule resyncs on its own every morning. You can also upload an .ics file.
Every event can carry a reminder, from on time up to a day ahead. Reminders are scheduled on the device itself, so they still fire in airplane mode.
RinkLog also gives you a private subscription link that works with Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar.
THREE SPORTS, THREE SETS OF RULES
Hockey, dek hockey and ringette. Ringette drops faceoffs and adds blue line passes. Dek hockey asks for the team format, three on three, four on four or five on five. Each sport has its own surface, its own penalties and its own vocabulary.
