Due to injury and mental illness struggles I stopped riding. I recently booked a ride on a whim and was so glad I did. I was nervous about having lost all the progress that I had made and knew the ride would be more physically demanding since my stamina had slipped and I am still recovering. I reminded myself that progress is not linear and after an unprompted pep talk by the front desk employee I felt ready to give it my all. The ride was therapeutic as always and I felt much better after the ride than I did before the ride. Just remember that no one is judging you and just showing up is always enough and anything beyond threat is extra! Let’s ride!
