Not useful for death pools
I thought this app would be perfect for alerting me to details of celebrity deaths related to the Deadpool. I'm in. It posts less death notices than just an average news source. Deleted the app.

The app works fine, but the news of celebrity passing is always 1-2 days later than the coverage you’d most certainly have already seen in all other media. In that light, I’m not sure of the app’s purpose. The single, eerie, cathedral bell toll makes me laugh though, so I keep it.

An App for the Gnarled
I’ve had this app for years. It never fails to jubilantly sound when some obscure celebrity or famous person has kicked the bucket! Truly this app is for the gothic and morose!
A death of a tree
Had this app for awhile. Hits and misses with obits. Some people I heard of but others in music and film never heard of.
Today, they announced the death of Sir Michael Gambon from Harry Potter.
Then few minutes ago, they had the passing of a sycamore tree in England. Story was from Reuters. Since when do we mourn a tree. I am surrounded by trees, but they are inanimate objects. If this passes for journalism, humanity is doomed

Many people mourn the loss of that tree… my hope is that this app and alerts will help to introduce interesting people, animals (and yes things) to more people.

This app is great fun, personalised ringtone is hella cool and it's a great convo starter, only problem I have is not all the deaths tell you how they died, other than that tho it's pretty good! Recommended and only a quid. Good!

I like this app a lot and also find it helpful because most of the time I see the death notifications before their on the news or twitter

Had this app since it first came out. Works better than ever.
I’ve had this app since it was first released. The current one is the most useful and stable I’ve seen. Definitely turn on notifications for it.
Great app, but where are my notifications?
I have been using this app for about 3 years now, and it’s always worked well. Within the last 2 months, my notifications have stopped working though. I’ve checked every setting there is regarding notifications, and they’re all on. Not sure if it’s an app issue or an iPhone 6 issue ...
Barely works
This app is extremely buggy. I got it so i could hear about celebrity deaths right as soon as they happen. But even though I have the notifications on, i NEVER get any alerts that let me know when someone has passed away. This means I have to check the app regularly, which is annoying because I might as well just check the news :/ Disappointed that I wasted my money on this app DO NOT BUY IT

This app is great but I don’t know if this sounds wrong but it can’t help it I wish that there are more people who died I had just got the app and there is only a few a lot of people say that a person dies every day and one child has been born idk it’s just is I love the app so I recommended this for people who like this it is worth it!

Slow on the draw & notable misses
Other sources often beat this app to the punch. It also misses some more famous while heralding the more obscure. Recent miss, notable actor Ron Leibman. They could do better. Also missed Rene’ Auberjonois
This app is good
I found out about this app from a video a few years and it does the job. It is a very interesting concept for an app and has been executed well. The other review talks about the deaths being irrelevant people, but then mentions KEYBOARD CAT? Who doesn’t know about the amazing Keyboard Cat! He was a legend. And there isn’t enough extremely major celebrity deaths every day for the app to be provided with enough in the feed, so they have to fill it with slightly less famous deaths. What do you expect?

Doesn’t work.
Has missed two deaths in the 4 days that I have had it. Tried to get my money back. App doesn’t even work to contact anyone.
Would give it less than one star if i could. Have not even had one notification before a death is heard about some place else. What a piece of crap app. Horrible.

Not worth your money!
Upon opening after purchasing it just kept saying “updating” but wouldn’t ever open. Then a day or so later it the app opened. Had two deaths since owning the app and neither one shows in the app. Piece of garbage. Save your dollar.

this app is really great! i love knowing about dead people but there isn't lots of updates. so i could get an update one day and then wait WEEKS for a new one. it’s kinda boring. i haven't seen a new dead person since August.
