About

Ripple Sound Meter turns your iPhone into a real-time sound toolbox: a decibel meter, a 3D scrolling spectrum, and a tuner, all running fully on your device. Instead of a plain flat dial, the spectrum is drawn as a live 3D sound-wave terrain and the dB reading drives a 3D needle gauge, so what you hear takes a shape you can watch. This app is for reference and curiosity only. It is not a certified measurement device; readings are uncalibrated estimates of ambient sound and should not be used for any professional or safety purpose. FEATURES - Decibel meter with a 3D needle gauge plus Max / Avg / Min hold - Live 3D spectrum terrain from real-time FFT, with an optional 2D bar view - Tuner that detects the main frequency, nearest note, and cents offset - Recording: capture a dB-over-time curve and replay it from a local list - A reference table of everyday sound levels (general knowledge, not medical advice) - A / C weighting, a calibration offset, and a dark instrument theme PRIVACY - Works entirely offline, with no account or sign-in - The microphone is used only to analyze sound levels live; no audio is recorded or uploaded - No data collected, no ads, and no in-app purchases
