What's New in RISE
1.9.0
September 14, 2026
RISE 1.9.0 A big one. The app now opens on your Library. NEW • Library first. Your books are the first thing you see. The RISE tab moved to the right — same screens, better name. • Read2Rise Recommendations, reworked. Tap the row and six books from the guide drop down. Tap again, six different ones. Tap a cover to read why I picked it and add it in one tap. • League: TODAY / 7 DAYS / 30 DAYS. Rolling windows now — the board doesn't reset to zero on the 1st of the month or on a Monday morning. • Onboarding moves faster, and you can tap to skip ahead. FIXED • Screen time stats now load. They didn't. They do. • Lock screen pause/resume works. Tap it — it actually pauses. • Widgets and Live Activities now work on iOS 17 and up, not just 26. • A handful of book covers were the wrong edition, or the wrong language, or had a library barcode on them. All fixed. • The Stats header no longer reads "2 026". Still free. Every feature, no exceptions.
