Was good

Game was good until the recent ads bogged the game down. Time to delete

Ads are like 10min long. Waste of time

Ads are like 10min long. Wish there was a little strip of ad or a skip button. No you are forced to watch a 10min app.
I Dont have time for this. Nor willing to spend $$ on this game

Best game

Strategical, Fun, lighthearted rivalry

They allow cheating

They let cheaters keep playing with a slap on the wrist! The game use to be fun.

Ads

Annoying ads won’t let me play the game anymore deleted.

Not accessible for blind players

Would love to be able to play this game again and was so excited to find it, but it is not accessible for blind players. Please consider making it to where this game can be used with VoiceOver on my iPhone or JAWS or NVDA on my PC.

Risk

I noticed being banned after winning a few games.
No reason or justification. Like a bot automated response of so many offences I should be a master criminal lol.
Apart from that I was enjoying each game win or lose .

Risk

Just as much fun as my favorite board game when I was a kid

Overrides IOS haptic controls

The current version of Risk overrides IOS controls on haptic notifications. It doesn’t matter if you allow the app notifications or not. It doesn’t matter if you use a global setting to silence all notifications. It still vibrates, there is no option to shut it off, and it is LOUD.

So unstable

70% of the time this game will crash. Apparently it cannot run on iPhone 17 Pro. Trash coding.

Ads make it a nightmare to play

This is only getting a 1 star review because of the ads. The gameplay itself is fine , but this company is ridiculously greedy. Each ad is 2-3 minutes long. You have to watch an ad to start a game, at the end of the game and every time you get back into a game you’ve already started. It’s insanity. To be brow beaten with half an hour of ads just to finish a game with real people is the worst way I’ve seen a game developer try to force people to pay for no ads from the in app shop ($13!!!!).

Great game

Making you win

Really good. It just seems like I constantly win against bots even though I’m not good at this game.

bad mechanics

1 turn can change an entire game, and you can do basically nothing about it, your allies can take your land without breaking alliances, how does that make sense?

Dishonest

I used to play quite a lot and occasionally purchased map packs. Took an extended break. Wanted to play for a bit today but the game has completely reset my settings again even though I always played against AI opponents. It did so several times in the past so it was a minor annoyance. This time though it was different. The game refused to restore my purchases. Ok. Well... be warned not to spend money on this rubbish I guess.

Screwed

Didn’t receive battle points for completing the tutorial and no response from customer service. I will not invest 1 minute or $1 into this game until this is resolved.

Previous review deleted. !!!HASBRO PLEASE FIRE SMG!!!

SMG has a cesspool where 99% of accounts are cheats, and Hasbro won’t take it off SMG! Together they’ve turned what was once a really enjoyable game into a Wild West of VPNs, with most users on several accounts playing the same game.
The ranking system is entirely false as high ranking players use their low ranking smurfing accounts to lower genuine player ranks. SMG calls this 'entirely appropriate' which gives you some idea of how false ranking actually is.
Reporting cheating doesn’t work. Game is open to hackers also. Literally videos shared of how easy it is.
It’s really awful for anyone wanting a genuine game.
The reporting system is as useful as a wet paper bag.
Once you filter out the Grandmasters behind all the 'novice' and 'beginner' accounts you literally have to wait around an hour for start a single 5-10 minute game.
As others have said, the 'True Random' dice are faulty, giving out outcomes far more commonly than they would if they really were random.
Complaining to SMG just gets you a closed reply (if you're lucky) full of hubris, much like many dev replies to these low score reviews.

Rigged

No set way of earning points just whoever they randomly give extra points to throughout the games. They decide who wins.

No Skill

There’s absolutely no skill required. Why? Whoever goes first wins. Whatever they do, they’ll win. You go first? Take all of the territory. The other player will only get 3 troops in their round, they can’t do anything, and then in your round, you get 15 because you have all of the territory. If you do not go first, you will lose.
