Risuto for AniList User Reviews

Almost perfect!

This app is really great. I’ve compared all the other ones and it has some of the best features. But it’s missing a few things to make it my only app to use. There’s no dark mode, no way to change the background to a custom picture, and I think there’s a bug or some logic error where I can’t swipe to increment the episode watch count on the planning or rewatching tab. Thank you to the devs for making a great app regardless!

Most Fully Featured App

This is the best anilist app on iOS I’ve used, and I have tested all of the ones listed on the site. It has a smooth UI for incrementing your chapter/episode count and the typical things you would expect. It also packs in additional features that make a lot of sense like the binge tracker and ability to interact with the forum. I did experience some issues with the binge tracker, but I recognize that it’s a newer feature so hopefully this will improve.

Most Fully Featured App

This is the best anilist app on iOS I’ve used. I don’t feel like there’s anything I can’t do from this app that I could do on the desktop site. My only issue with it is that sometimes when I navigate to new pages I have to pull to refresh to get accurate info. It would be nice if this refresh happened by default when navigating to a new page. However, this isn’t a dealbreaker as no other app comes as close to perfect as this one.

One of the better apps I’ve used.

One thing I recommend is making it so you can see which activity was liked. Making notifications interactive in general would be nice, like if someone follows you make it so you can jump to their profile.

App Looks Great But…

Recently moved over from MAL bc of the sale to a Web3/crypto/AI company (yuck). App looks great and intuitive but it freezes the anime and manga tab so I haven’t been able to use it to the fullest extent

Wonderful but

Love Risuto but my only problem is that it freezes every time I go to the anime or manga tab at the very bottom. It’s a massive inconvenience, but besides that this is a nice and convenient way to use Anilist if you don’t want to open it in a browser every time.

Slow

Slow to load so I can’t even tell if like their organization style.

Response from developer

The app depends on data from AniList, so if their API is sometimes slow, I can’t do anything about it. Is it always slow for you?

App Keeps Freezing

Please fix your app
i love the way your app is designed but whenever i click on anime or manga the app will freeze and im unable to update my status on an anime/manga

Response from developer

Is this still happening? I was able to reproduce it on my test account, but it hasn’t happened for a few days.

beautiful!

would love to be able to filter to see text status on global, dunno if it is something you already are thinking on. beyond, everything, just beyond!

not tracking anime

not tracking anime

Response from developer

Could you elaborate more on what you’re seeing happen in the app? I’m not aware of any issues currently.

already better

this is already better than most of the other anilist apps. great start!

Great start!

Fairly new, but it feels feature rich! It’s a great alternative to a lot of the other MyAniList applications on the store. Clean UI, and it’s easy to use. Developer listens to feedback and implements new changes quickly. Highly recommend!

Response from developer

Thank you for the kind words!

Great looking and full of features

Risuto looks great and makes several improvements over the Anilist mobile site. It’s easy to track and update your anime/manga lists and find new shows to watch through the app, and there are a ton of well thought out features that make this app awesome to use
