The RIT AR Experience app is available on iPhone IX and above, and iPads running iOS Version 11.0 or later. This includes iPhones, iPads, and iPods.
For the clearest and most immersive 360-degree video experience, it is recommended to be connected to Wi-Fi. This ensures smooth playback and high-quality visuals.
The AR portals work best in open, well-lit areas with flat surfaces and no obstructions. Ensure you have enough space around you to walk and explore.
You can use the camera feature within the app to take photos, add RIT-themed stickers, and save your creations. Share them on social media using the hashtag #RITtigersAR.
You can experience a variety of spirit-filled events and locations, including Division I hockey games, glass blowing labs, the Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, and the Rochester Lilac Festival.
Yes, the RIT AR Experience app is completely free to download and use. There are no in-app purchases or advertisements.
