Ritrovo

Your reading list should work for you - not feed someone else’s platform. Ritrovo is a private, local-first home for the web pages you want to keep. Save links in seconds, rediscover information with full-text search, listen to articles, and export clean Markdown for AI assistants, writing tools, or your personal knowledge base. SAVE WITHOUT BREAKING YOUR FLOW • Capture links directly from the Share Sheet • Add a URL manually and get a rich preview • Send new pages to your Inbox for later review • Organize everything with categories and tags • Archive links without losing them FIND THE PASSAGE YOU REMEMBER Ritrovo privately indexes the readable content of saved webpages, text files, and PDFs. Search across titles, domains, URLs, categories, tags, and page text. Results show the passages that matched your query. Tap a passage to open the reader at exactly the right place. Search happens on your device—Ritrovo does not send your library to a server. MARKDOWN, READY FOR AI Export any indexed page as a clean Markdown file containing its readable text and structured source information, including: • Original URL and domain • Saved and indexed dates • Category and tags • YAML front matter Use the result with the AI assistant, notes app, editor, or knowledge-management system of your choice. Ritrovo prepares the file; you decide where it goes. READ OR LISTEN Open pages in a distraction-free reader or switch to the original website when needed. You can also listen using voices installed on your device. Playback continues from the Lock Screen, Control Center, headphones, AirPlay, and CarPlay. Build an Up Next queue, change the speed, follow spoken-word highlighting, or fall asleep with the sleep timer. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No Ritrovo account or separate login • No Ritrovo backend • Your library syncs through your private iCloud database • Search indexing stays on your device • Speech is generated on-device—audio is never uploaded or stored • Works offline • Export and import complete JSON backups of your library Save now. Find it again—with your library under your control.
