What's New in rit.run
1.1.0
July 5, 2026
This update focuses on route reuse, workout cleanup, wearable data accuracy, safer sync, and clearer controls. • Save a route map from a workout preview, then choose that saved route before recording so the route outline can guide your next run. • Running history now supports left-swipe deletion, including cleanup across device health data, Firestore route items, and local workout chunks. • Phone-recorded runs no longer overwrite missing heart-rate values with zeroes, helping Apple Watch, Garmin, HealthKit, and Health Connect heart-rate data stay intact. • When cloud workout sync is interrupted, rit.run keeps your existing run history instead of replacing it with a partial local refresh. • iOS HealthKit and photo permission prompts now check current permission state before asking again. • Settings now includes optional diagnostic error logging consent, with privacy copy updated to explain the account-linked logs. • Assets, routes, shoes, badges, and record controls have clearer floating layouts, localized saved-route text, and more consistent route and shoe selection buttons. Thank you for using rit.run. We will keep improving the running record experience.
