summer stories
I was recently in Japan and went to visit Kamakura for a day with my sister. There was heavy rain as we visited some temples but it soon graduated into a typhoon. All nearby busses and trains stopped running so we had to walk about 40 minutes in heavy rain and lightning to the train station. filmed most of it and put it on river as a metaphorical photo in my digital scrapbook.

i love river
this summer i got to run/hike to the summit of Black Tusk with my Dad, almost exactly one year since he had a brain injury and had to relearn how to walk. it was really special. we both sat in the creek together after and had a coke.
I LOVE RIVER
River is like a shared diary thatās both intimate and anonymous, itās so exciting and freeing and refreshing. It feels like going back to a simpler time in the internet (with the added bonus that itās just a beautifully designed app)

River runs cold
The work for this app was done well and excited to share how this project will transform in the near future. My favorite memory this summer was going to the beach at Big Sur. It felt like a dream I never had to sleep to feel.
roadtrip
of all the memories of summer my favorite of all was the month of roadtrips all along the east coast with my partner. album after album, the whizzing air past the rolled down windows. getting sad yet excited as we left one city for the next. though many moments this is my favorite memory of summer.
