This is a quick release to address an annoying bug reported by Preston. It only impacts iPhones. It would appear that ads are once again creating issues. This time in landscape games like Craps. When an ad completes, sometimes they are not closable on iPhones. This issue existed some time in the past and I dealt with it. This time, the solution was simple: I've decided to turn off ads on iPhones for the games that are in landscape mode. To be honest, I'm no more fond of ads that any other Player is. That the advertisers continue to try to hide their "close buttons" or trick you into visiting the App Store is aggravating to me as a Player. It baffles my mind they the folks who provide the ads believe that after such an experience, a person would want to support their customers by downloading the product that is being advertised so aggressively. But, despite the fact that advertisers are horrible "tenants" who create issues for which I, as the Developer, ultimately get blamed, they do generate badly needed revenue that helps to offset my costs. So, for the immediate future, I will allow them to continue to infect my app. My goal continues to be to decrease the frequency of the ads until a great many people are watching an extremely low number of ads while generating that nominal revenue. Today, an ad gets shown after each 125 deals, rolls, and spins. I anticipate increasing that threshold later this summer. I want to thank Preston for taking the time to work with me on this issue.
