Good for what it’s meant to do
Let’s make this clear. This is not a black or white background removing app. It will literally remove either ANY Black, or ANY White in the image. This only works well with single images, with a specific colour, against an all white or all black background. Like smoke against a black background. Or a sheer blue cloth against a white background. Making for a transparent images, that you can overlay on top of another background.
It will not work on, say a rose with shading, against a black background. This app will remove any black in the image, including in the shading of the rose. It works great for logos or any vector styled images without black or white in it. Want to remove a solid coloured logo from a black or white background? This app is for you.
It does a decent job for what it’s intended for. Just don’t expect more.

Works surprisingly well
The only other review is from five years back and suggests the app doesn’t work. Having just tried it on a variety of images I can confirm that it does work and works really well.

About choose the color to remove
Please, add a function by which we can choose the color we want to remove. example : I have a passport size picture, which back color is blue. but I need it as with white back color.

Only app that does this
Those other reviews are so unappreciative this is the only app that does this. Even Adobe Fresco and Procreate Pocket don't have it. You'd need a selection by color tool and then a convert to alpha tool.
I do wish that there was more, like multi-photo selection etc.. But for how much this costs? C'mon, man.

Great but one issue
This app is fantastic! The only issue I have is that it completely removes ALL of the white/black in a photo. I wish there was a way you could ONLY remove the white background instead of the entire image

As the description says, there are many apps that remove background-- but this one is so exceptionally painless, fast, and high quality that it has a permanent place in my photo tools collection.
Doesn't work
The app does not seem to work. It highlights the black or white background you want to remove and that's it. If you want to save it to your camera roll it will save just the same photo you upload to the app (still with the white or black background you wanted to remove)

It's exactly what I've been looking for! I am drawing mandalas with the Amaziograph app. I needed to make the background transparent so I could import my images into Procreate and add color using layers - instead of coloring on the drawing.
This did the trick. Yay me!

Cool but add this..
This app is ok but more times than not it partially deletes a part that isn't even pitch black or white. Make an option that ONLY deletes black or white. No blending. If you guys actually listen to this comment, I will rate 5 stars. Only then.

Works Well
This app does what it says, & does it well. But I would like to see a feature that allows you to mask parts of the photo back in. That way you can correct parts of the desired image that were erased with the background.
Excellent png maker!
Have been searching for an auto-png creator, and this works great, provided the picture you want to cut out has a white or black background. Have been experimenting with cutting out various items; app does well and places them on a transparent background (png), which is very helpful in creating collages. Much better and easier than the "background eraser" apps, none of which I was satisfied with. Highly recommend!
